  • @MiroMiroSR depends on when the tv was made to the remote.......

  • hey our bosses bought us a big flat screen for our lounge but blocked the input button on the tv & switched the remote to an old universal remote without an input button... we are trying to watch movies or play games but we cant.. how the f*vk can we change the input?!?! before you call us stupid, ill have you know we work in an o.r.

  • You can't give those crts away anymore, last time I tried I ended up payn a kid to take it away for me. Good luck . The cost of that remote is more than the value of the CRT.

Hold down the Tv button and at the same time the power till the TV button is steady , and once the tv button is ON start pressing the play button on the remote till the tv is on and once the tv is on then press rewind button for the tv to accept the code then press the stop button and the TV should turn off and as well the remote 's tv light, PRESS TV THEN POWER

    THE CODE IS ALL THERE..

  • my sanyo tv is stuck on input and i cant seem to set it back to tv mode with my universal. does anyone know how to set the universal while on input mode. my remote is a phillips.

  • Hey, I had the same problem. Here is a list of the codes mine came with. Try some of these and see if it helps at all buddy. I have the RCA RCR3273. Not sure what remote u have. Private message me and let me know if it worked.

    1047, 1078, 1080, 1121, 1129, 1163.

1163 worked on my Sanyo tv and mine is pretty identical to yours. Give those codes a shot. The codes list list like 017, 021, 039, 056, 057 and 058 and none of those worked for me. Luckily I found my code booklet.

  • Thanks for the codes! I would have replied sooner, but I didn't get a notice about your comment.

I was pretty eager to clean house and get rid of the TV, so I broke and bought a Sanyo remote online. It wasn't the one that came with the TV (I misplaced the original at some point), but fortunately it did the job. If it didn't I'm sure you'd have seen a rant more barbed against Sanyo. Still, the new remote set me back ~30 bucks.

  • Blake - I must say I can empathize with your pain. Try THIS scenario on for size: I recently acquired an AMW DVD player with 6 surround speakers. Very Cool. That is, until I realized the remote was nowhere to be found. This particular model seems to ONLY operate by remote as well. The Play button begins each disc, but as soon as one is presented with the menu, there isn't much you can do to begin playing the ACTUAL MOVIE. I am hoping I can 'teach' another remote of mine to function with this....
