  • Fox news........laughing as they turn their listeners into schitzophrenics...one citizen at a time!!!

  • The only thing stopping me buying one is the price, when they cost half the current price I'll buy one. When you Americans are paying the prices we pay in Europe for petrol maybe you hybrid haters will change your minds!

  • Oh and there both fucking idiots... hybrids are fucking cheap ass shit vehicles that are pretty much just total junk and those guys trying to talk shit against it are idiots for just being part of Fox news.... lol

  • 40 FUCKING THOUSAND DOLLARS FOR A PIECE OF SHIT CHEVY VOLT!?!?!!?!?!?!?!! WHAT THE FUCK...THAT CAR IS LIKE A 20K CAR AT THE MOST. ITS TOTAL JUNK WITH A BUNCH OF GLITTER THROWN ON TOP.

  • @thecico12345 and I would be better off buying a Volt because YOU ARE A BULLSHIT!

  • @RichardJoash Ok go ahead, go buy one. You will regret it so much i guarantee that.

  • Did he just make fun of americans himself? "four rather small seats for americans" hahaha!

  • hope your car doesnt strart on fire

  • geez libs, where are you chastizing pelousi for her10',000 a night hotel rooms at xmas??

  • This is why fox is not even real news, hell that price is an absolute steal for the car!

  • George Bush signed the bill for the $7,500 tax credit. Just like the bill for the 1%'ers. Faux News watchers defend to the death the tax credit for the 1%'ers, but hate my tax credit. It's my taxes that I get credit on. Not anybody elses! I paid those taxes. So now the working stiff can't get what the 1%'ers get? It's exactly the same credit, signed by the same president. You're a bunch of hypocrites. BTW, if you only get $2,000 back ... that's all you get!!! Not $7,500.

  • Charles is just angry that he won't be able to fit in the small seats.

  • Average tax dollars paid per working American for my Volt ... $0.00004. I am driving more now and spending most of the $175 a month on extra stuff. I bet the businesses I visit don't mind the $0.00004 cents they spent on my car! That's 4/1000 of a red penny. FYI, every single great invention was subsidized in one way or another. Just think what DaVinci would have accomplished if Fox News was around then!

  • A Honda Civic with the exact accoutrements costs $32,000. I get 40 miles per charge. Could get better, but I like a little speed. 2,250 miles driven, no gas station visit yet. Saved $360 in 2 months of driving. I would make sound like more, but I subtracted the charging costs. Actual city MPG = 130. $0.08.8 cents per kwh. 13 kwh's to charge = $1.15 per charge. 40 miles per charge. 3.13 charges per cost of gallong of gas. All per Kill-A-Watt meter monitoring for 1 month.

  • Faux Biz, like everything else from the propaganda hacks at News Corp,is an absolute joke!I'm surprised Gary Gastelu is kept on because he continually schools and embarrasses these other r/wingnut ,Faux fiends like the lying, fraudulent ,Wall Street Corporate Pimps that they are!Check him out on Varney's,Jan. 6,2012 sad excuse for a show, with facts and clarity (two things r/wingers abhor)he silences Varney and Co.

  • how is this a FOX fail? the car is a fail like all green technology

  • @MetalandHotRods how is green tech a fail? Tesla has vehicles that can go near 300 mi on a charge? The volt can out accel a 2010 Camaro... from 0-40. This country needs to break its fossil fuel addiction. The electric motor by design is far more powerful than ANY gas/diesel engine. 100% torque at 0 rpm. lets see any "engine" beat that.

  • @MetalandHotRods please facts before bashing.

  • hahahaha.. four small seats for Americans.. Thats the funniest line ever!

  • in my mind if the chevy volt went 50 mile on electric and then 500 miles on gas i would say its a good buy. But it only goes 300 miles on gas and for $40,000 its not there yet.

  • black person is right, rest is just bullshit

  • volt is a fail, end of story. Fox or not

  • @Panchee123 Your comment should be: Fox is a fail, end of story.

  • @miszczmateusz aren't the Volts free? I mean I paid for one.

  • Fox Business hates the Volt because they are pro big oil, because big oil pays their salaries, so in essence Fox is Big Oil's Bitches

  • Oh you ignorant stubborn Americans....

  • I don't want a electric car which is unable to make more than 25 miles with one charge... are you calling that an 'EV'?

  • @DtorBillAgain "unable to make more than 25 miles with one charge", it makes up to 50 miles per charge

  • @lilgman191 Sorry but not, check what Consumer Reports said (and checked). No, it doesn't and the car is not worth it's price at all. I would buy a Prius rather than this "volt" and if I want even more efficient, wait for the Prius Plug-in, it will eclipse anything on market during a decade (once again)

  • They dont talk about the Tesla Model S, unlike this shit fully electric, (0-60 mph in 5 secs. 300 miles per charge -45 mins per charge and starting price at 49 000 USD. Everyone should buy Tesla Model S if they care for the sake of humanity.. But since the majority of people are retarded the owners of oil companies are still going to laugh all their way to the banks as mother nature is suffering...

  • @Moris88 The tesla will start at 79k when it is released and the 55k version will have a range up to 150 miles. The volt is expected to be 7k cheaper and have double the ev range 100 miles with better mpg, in extened range.

  • okay, please explain your theory, the volt was a working concept in 2006 and was show in January at NAIAS and had a release date targeted for 11/2010. By 2008 they had a preproduction version and redesigned the car and was still on for release 11/2010. The bailout happened in 2009 so how can the Volt come from tax payer? If GM had already test developed and did R&D on it before the bailout?

  • Start with the $50 billion bailout…add $240 million in Energy Department grants doled out to G.M. last summer, $150 million in federal money to the Volt’s Korean battery supplier, up to $1.5 billion in tax breaks for purchasers and other consumer incentives, and some significant portion of the $14 billion loan G.M. got in 2008 for ‘retooling’ its plants, and you’ve got some idea of how much taxpayer cash is built into every Volt.

  • @yakyakyak69 You posted this same thing on another video, Fox news isn't going to tell you this but the volt was already in development and had a working concept in 2006 and the bailout happen in 2009. Also the grants and subsidies where in place for at least 2 decades before the volt. Get your facts straight buddy and the tax credit benefit ANY alternative power vehicle and not just limited to the Volt.

  • @lilgman191 The money for the Volt came from the taxpayers. Had gov't not killed the right of contract, GM would have been forced into reorganization which would have broken them into several competing companies at ZERO taxpayer expense. We would then have several companies competing for OUR business. This FREE MARKET competition would have produced BETTER products at LOWER PRICES to the consumer (you and I).

Instead we have REWARDED bad behavior and produced USSA Government Motors.

  • @yakyakyak69 You are wrong and choose to ignore facts the bailout was there to keep them from filing for bankruptcy because they ran out of cash and banks was not lending money to car buyers. In the end they had to file bankruptcy anyway because of high debt GM was trying to pay back their loans and stakeholders. The courts want let anyone file bankruptcy just to get over on there debt. BTW everyone in the world knows ANY business gets grants by creating green jobs.

  • @lilgman191 WRONG!

The UAW "bailouts" KILLED free market dynamics by choosing winners & losers with OTHER people's STOLEN money. "Redistribution, the EVIL child of Hubris & Envy is Pandora's Box. When opened redistribution makes SLAVES of the taxed, DEPENDANTS of the recipients, TYRANTS of the powerful and CRONIES of the Politicians all in the name of "helping" some by enslaving others." - YakYakYak69

"The road to hell is paved with good intentions" - unknown

  • @yakyakyak69 WTH are you talking about, like I said stop watching fox news because great minds think for themselves. Find something more productive to do with your time, GM is the the nations largest automaker and is making some of the best cars in the world and the Volt is one of them. You just hate the everyones like it and it is pissing you off, you can't criticize the car on merit so you try the Fox news approach, which is criticizes GM.

  • @lilgman191 NO! Now, the TAXPAYERS are the nation's largest automakers thanks to Chairman Bush and Chairman ObaMao's pandering to Big Labor. The funny thing is that we would have BETTER cars WITHOUT forcing the taxpayers to give $Billions to the UAW while pandering for Democrat votes.

Yes, the Volt is a GREAT car... for the rich, hypocritcal "progressives".

BTW, Fox News SUCKS! However Fox Business is fantastic!

So pull your head out of MSNBC and take a breath of FREEDOM!

  • So an alternative viewpoint about the Volt is "preaching hate"? If the technology was so wonderful, it wouldn't need to be subsidized. GM sucks and they stiffed American GM bondholders when they didn't file for bankruptcy.

  • @order9066 Your wrong on two points, 1st GM did file for bankruptcy thats why the lost their shareholders. Fox news is not telling even the half truth. The tax credit is their because these kinds of cars can be expensive and make low profits for the maker so the credit are their to encourage companies to build these cars, and so most can afford them UNTIL THE COST COME DOWN. Also those credits being there for at least two decade, they are subsidized bc pollution, and buying foreigner oil.
