On 9/11, World Trade Center tower 7 fell straight down at free-fall speed through 47 floors in 6.5 seconds. Unlike twin towers 1 and 2, no plane hit tower 7. Both CNN and the BBC reported the collapse of tower 7 before it actually happened. Why is this?

Word of advice - PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE try and edit these films so that the viewer can actually watch it! The excessively short time between shots is INCREDIBLY annoying. Brits are NOT Americans - we have longer attention spans than 0.5 seconds. Otherwise - nice idea!
