  • he has an accent n his makes some mistakes) he sounds like a little boy,but that's actually cute, though i don't like him much)

  • TRANSLATE

  • on takoii milashka

  • does he have an accent? I'm norwegian and I think I hear a bit of a norwegian accent but I'm not sure....

  • yes he has, and forgets some russian words during the conversation, but it sounds cute =) i like the way he operates with three languages and remember his origins well

  • yes he has)

but at the stage (in final) he said SPASIBO (thank you) without accent))

  • not really. i suppose he learnt russian before norwegian. but i speak norwegian myself, and i cant recognize any accents from there.

  • its funny though, because he asks if his russian is good enough.

  • he does, just a little bit

  • good i was born in russia, so i can understand the conversation.

first: i like him much better speaking russia than norwegian.

sooo cuuuuteee....when he saiys: my pronounciation isnt that bad, is it?

    <333333333333333

  • you'll find it on a previous page

  • Wow.., he is incredibly commited .. he is just awesome...

  • he's very cute when he speaks russian. and his russian is pretty good for a person who's moved to norway when he was just 4 years old, that's my word for it! way to go, sasha!

  • Thanks for the translation!

  • Thanks for translation

  • TRANSLATION pt 10

A: Actually I like Russian and French songs, because they are really emotional. I like this kind of songs. But I know that Eurovision is all about the show. So, I think, Ukraine has big chances.

J: Alex! Get better! Because because its important!

A: Thanks a lot and have a nice day!

    J: Thanks, bye!

    A: Bye!

    The end =)

  • Thanks a lot for your translation! Very interesting :-)

  • TRANSLATION pt 9

A: Ill be there on the 5th of May. There will be lots of rehearsals, of course, but I hope Ill be able to talk to Russian people or maybe take part in some TV-shows.

J: And what do you worry about the most?

A: I just like that I can tell my story to the world. But when I herd the Ukrainian song I became a bit worried

J: So, among all your rivals, you like Svetlana Loboda the most?

    To be continued...

  • on russak???

    ili bela russak???

    ili norweger????

  • it's Russian. But i've just translated it into english.

  • Comment removed

  • TRANSLATION pt 8

A: It helps me, of course. I become more self-confident. And I think it doesnt matter that my song bothers some people because theyve herd it too many times, because Im sure that 90% of ones who will vote will hear it for the first time.

J: Last year bookmakers made a right choice. They said Bilan and he won. Dont forget about that.

    A: Ill hope

J: So, when do you come to Moscow and what are your plans?

    To be continued...

  • Thank you so much for taking time to do this! The owner of the video, please, take this translation and either make subtitles or put it on the side (the info of the video) and say that you have the english translation too. You won't believe who many people will be happy to read this, even though they don't understand russian!

    Thanks again, HaughtyAubergine!!!

  • TRANSLATION pt 7

A: I hope well eat a cake, of course) But, unfortunately, we have to have a rehearsal all day long. But I hope people wont forget about my birthday And on 18th of May my mum will celebrate her 50 birthday

J: Your victory would be a perfect gift for her!

A: I think so too, but that is not my choice)

J: And you must know, that most of the bookmakers think you will win. Does this fact help you or prevent you from winning?

    To be continued...

  • TRANSLATION pt 6

J: OK, and what will your performance be like? I mean the dancers and the violin Will it stay just the same?

    A: Almost the same.

J: We loved your jump. It reminds about Dima Bilan I thing you shouldnt change it.

A: Well see Of course but the most important thing is to sing songs, not to jump.

J: If Im not mistaken, your birthday is on the 13th of May. Are you planning a Norwegian party, or maybe something else?

    To be continued...

  • TRANSLATION pt 5

J: By the way, Sasha, do you think your Byelorussian past had an influence on the fact that youre going to the Eurovision to Moscow? Maybe there is an opinion that Russians will vote for you?

A: I think that even if that was not Moscow, I would take part in the Norwegian contest. Because Ive written this song exactly this

Summer. And I thought that it would be perfect for the Eurovision. But, of course, its much more interesting for me to go to Moscow.

    To be continued...

  • TRANSLATION pt 4

A: Lots of people in the villages told me their stories and I thought: I have my own story. I was in love with a girl (but who wasnt?) And I started writing the story about that girl, I liked. After that I thought: Alex, thats the best song youve ever written! And then remembered about the Eurovision in Moscow in a year 2009. And I thought that if Ill win in Norway it will be interesting for me to visit Moscow.

    To be continued...

  • TRANSLATION pt 3

A: But Ive never thought of taking part in the Eurovision contest. Ive never had such a plan. But last summer I went to the west Norway. I was walking a lot every day there (for 4-5 hours) near the sea. And at night I slept in strangers houses. Instead of paying them I made some concerts While I was walking, I saw beautiful nature. Once, standing on the highest mountain, I took my violin and started playing. I loved the melody.

    To be continued...

  • TRANSLATION pt 2

J: Now lets talk about something connected to the Eurovision. Your song, Fairytale. How did you write it? Maybe something has happened in your life and you understood that this song has to be written

A: Actually, I was thinking, why do Norwegians always send Spanish, Italian songs, but not Norwegian. Countries should show their own culture on the Eurovision. And I thought: Whats typical for Norway? Violin, of course, folklore rhythm

    To be continued...

  • I did my best...

    TRANSLATION pt 1

Alexander (A): I'm sure I'll use Russian again at the moment. By the way, my pronunciation isn't that bad, is it?

Journalist (J): Yeah, its very good, believe me.

A: Ive just forgotten lots of words

J: So, the first question: Where are you now and what were you doing before our call?

A: Ive just waked up, ill, as usual.

J: Do you feel bad, or what?

A: Yeah, thats because of my weak immunity. Especially in winter.

    To be continued...

  • He's so down-to-earth, I'm shocked. Just a wonderful guy with a big heart, and immense talent. Too bad Russia is losing her talents to the west, but at least he won!

  • He's so down-to-earth like "our" Tose Proeski, who represented Macedonia 2004 (with a truly awful song)... He had so many beautiful songs and they wrote for him the worst one for the songcontest. Unfortunatelly he died in a car-accident 2 years ago. we still mourn him. alexander rybak reminds me a lot of him. he makes me feel happy but also it makes me feel pain, because we lost such a great person, who was so lovely and down to earth.

  • I was just thinking of how great talents are prone to accidents(Maxim Staviski) and you sent me thi about Tose...Yes, it's sad, but his songs are forever. Did you hear this version:

    watch?v=NHUetxTUyx8

  • I didn't know this version. it's good, but it makes me sad to know, that others are singing his song, while he is watching from above and will never sing it for us again. he was such a great talent. toses eurovision-song was awfull, but his other songs and his voice are wow... he was so great but so simple and down to earth. when i saw alexander, i had to think about tose. and i dont know maxim staviski. i'll look in the internet. i visited toses grave last year... :( this little village... sad!

  • Please look on the bright side-Tose is already a legend. Let's support the talents that are living today and live for the future...Greetings.

  • yes, thats true... but you know, each time when i see the songcontest, i have to think about him. and this great boy alexander rybak made me think even more about him. i'm so glad about alexanders victory. he truly, truly, truly deserved it!!!!

  • Bravo sasha!!! russkiy parin koneshno on i budit krassavits... a goloc prosto....tsudo!!!! bravoooo

  • so cute how he speaks russian ^^

  • i agree :))

  • PERKELE SENTÄÄN

  • Armenia and Israil dont have territory in Europe at all. They both situated in Asia. It doesnt matter how bir Turkey´s territory in Europe!

  • It's May 13th, Happy Birthday then!!! :oD

  • English subtitels please...

  • strangers ne straniki, a neznakomci, on imeet v vidu. Vedushaya po anglijski ne znaet. Neuzheli ne nashlos bolee proffesionalnoy vedushey

  • As you see from the scoreboard of semi-final

    1.Azerbaijan

    2.Norway

Turkey will number one in another semi-final

    That is it!

  • Turkey only gets points in eurovision(where the muslim and ASIAN country turkey does not belong btw.), becuse of the imperialist muslim invaders/immigrants always votes for turkey- and there are millions of muslim invaders in Europe.

  • Sorry guys, but nop way Azerbaijan will win this year.

  • Arrrgh... must he speak russian all the time?? XD but anyway, can someone be FANTASTIC, and translate it?? :D

  • I don't think it would've been a wise decision to speak in Norwegian with a Russian co-host..

  • Love Alexander <3

    but is he belarussian?

  • He speaks Russian very well, with a little accent. But it really sounds very funny:)

I know a lot of Russians like his song, so I think he will have many votes from our country.

    I will vote for him.

    Good luck, Alex!

  • klassnij paren, uspecha!

what he said at 7:05 is so true!!!!!! it what happened to me!

translate of 7:05 - "i think for the eurovision fans is already annoying song because they heared it much times and it boring now, but i think it doest matter because 90% of the people who watchs eurovision they never heared any song before"

hes favorites are ukraine, france and russia because they are emotional

  • Thanks for translating that. I wish the whole thing was translated. I never get tired of the song though :D
