As far as rap needing this right now, I agree. Not so much that we need it but we need anything against this Akon bullshit. Overusing a voice correcting machine to create a sound that should have been left in that one Cher video. Music isn't supposed to sound perfect, I can't stand it when it's 1,000% computerized in that every beat and vocalized note is perfect. It takes away the realism of it and frankly takes away the authenticity of the track in my opinion.
