i know this vid is a bit old and i read u do not own the stang anymore but did you have a lot of trouble with the SLP pipe hanging down to low? if u can remember
@GMurphSC06GT They may use autos, but most of them are manually shifted autos. Faster cars use either lenco style transmissions which are clutchless manual transmissions or they have no trans and rely solely on clutch slip.
1) I wish 62 was cold for me! Cold for me is like.... creeping up on 0.
2) If you had a cage in the car you could get a camera mount for it. :P
3) Car sounds amazing, even for an automatic. I usually hate the sound of automatics, but yours sounds good! Actually has me considering getting an automatic 4.6.....
Personal preference for me, I like to be in complete control of when the car shifts, and when it doesn't. I just hate the sound of an automatic V8 with the way it shifts, but s'pose a manual valve body in the transmission could take care of that. I've just always driven a manual car, and that's all I can really stand to drive.
Yeah, my DD is a manual - and the real car (this) is the auto. A built auto really makes the difference - but i decided not to go fully manual valvebody, it just isn't that useful.
Yeah, I really don't blame ya there. Like I said before, it's all the person's preference. If I was gonna build another drag vehicle (used to have a blown 383 stroker S-10), I'd go with AOD, or just a powerglide with auto valve body, and a trans brake.
But regardless, this car looks and sounds beautiful, and I love your side-exit. You did an awesome job on it, man.
i know right! I wish "cold" was 62 for me too. unfortunately cold reaches 10 below at times. lol. sick stang man. I have magnapacks. looking to get the mangna true x high flow. is that what you have?
rofl well no problem man i bet you do know that 94-95 were the last years of the 5.0L heaven that's more imporant than a stupid clock btw my clock doesn't work anymore :( lol
Why do you say that? Each side of the airbag slops down so i guess it looks tilted to the camera's side, but it'll stay straight at 70mph w/out touching the wheel
it just looked a little tilted when you where driving straight. I have that prob sometimes too and just wondered if you were having the same issue. Im from SD too.

@09portillo Yeah, it was a bit of a pain. It'd hit before my side exit pipes ever did. I'd go with another X if i did it again.

nothing wrong with automatic,it's what NHRA drag racer' use, more consistant, never miss a shift.

I've now made a camera mount for my car. Check out my other vids, show the strengths of an automatic much better if you ask me.

hey, i have an auto Mustang. :)
fourstar7 3 years ago
Sweet. Put a tranny cooler on that bitch so you don't have to rebuild it!
MustangAficionado 3 years ago
traded my Auto mustang for a Manual mustang GT. :)
fourstar7 3 years ago
No harm in that! Often cheaper than swapping over the manual. Hope the T-45 serves you well! (Or TR-3650 is it's 99-04)
MustangAficionado 3 years ago
its about time to see someone actually take care of their stang. most people just start beatin the shit of it when engine is still cold. very good

Thank you. A healthy mustang is a happy mustang, and often a fast one as well.

Hey I got a question, what is that display kind of thing on top of the a/c vents in the center console?
StriderTacticaL 3 years ago
The clock. Some people puts gauges there.
MustangAficionado 3 years ago
oh cool. is it aftermarket or did it come with your car? I see some people having it and some don't, I have an 04 GT premium without them
StriderTacticaL 3 years ago
Stock. either 99+ or 01+ stopped putting them there.
MustangAficionado 3 years ago
clock i believe in the 94 and 95 models
HomelessGuy40 3 years ago

BruteCommando 3 years ago
that i do know lol the engine is more important than a dash clock
HomelessGuy40 3 years ago
94-97, i have a 98 none of them have it, autometer makes guage pods that resemble it so 98-04 guys can run boost guages and etc. from there
atlanticblue98 3 years ago 2
yep my 94 doesn't have them either but it's cool specially made pods and under the radio you can fit 2 - 3 pods also
BruteCommando 3 years ago
which xpipe is that?
chris2furr 3 years ago
Magnaflow catted x. Hangs a bit low tho, but that's so you can use it for longtubes as well - as the to-manifold part is detachable from the cat.

Oops, accidentally removed your post. Nah i wont trade it in, the car's worth 4k at this point - i have that much in tires over the years.

Nah, i have -1 degree camber driver side, -1.5 degree passenger side. Well within the tolerances of an aligned car.
