They could've made the GTR alot better, Imagine that car with a 2JZ Supra engine in it. the power possibilities would be endless. The GTR gearbox couldn't cope with that power either though. Pitty really, you would've thought that with 17 years advancement in engine and drivetrain technology they could surpass the 2JZ.... it seems not though.

LOL where did you here that? Plenty have made more then that (like this car) and the problems got nothing to do with electrics, its just the strength of the gears themselves and that they overheat which there are already aftermarket fixes for both.
