I think the reason they're most displeased by them is that they feel totally unnatural.
All boxy and padded and whatnot.
I used to put on baby socks, then cutted-up ballons stretch over my dog's paws, she seemed into those a lot more, being so form-fitting and considerably less bulky.
I feel sorry for the dog :(
