Yes you can back stab enemy players.

hey Flikffxi whats your weapon called i have a sword that is very similar called killij or are you using that katana called makaoto that draines your health unless you were that ring

Although I have that draining katana it isn't that I'm using, it's just a +9 or +10 standard katana.

i havent fought one yet, cant they kill your character? You would have to make a new character right?

If they kill you they get your body and you go into Soul Form, you don't have to start over.

Instance based, each world is made up of four or five seperate stages each with a boss.

how many hours have u logged into this game? is it long? I haven't played a 100plus hour game since Elder Scrolls 4.

To date somewhere between 40-60, if you aim for the highest possible Soul Level that'll take a long time.

You do yeah, unless an enemy player kills you then they get all the souls you're carrying.

The US and Asian versions can't play together no, they are getting different servers to avoid unbalance with people already max level etc.

Can you play with people from your friends list or is it completely random?

You can't directly invite from your friendlist I think (no one I know has it so can't be 100% sure).

But the person who owns the world and invites people in can see the name of who they are inviting, so if you arrange where your friend should leave his spirit stone (the thing that lets you get invited into someone's world that I'm standing on top of in part 1) they could find it and invite that way.

Gotcha', one more thing.

When you're summoned into another player's world as a Soul Body what do you gain from repeating the level?

You get souls from every enemy killed and a big bonus from the boss, you use those for everything including leveling up.

You also get your body back when you return to the game so you don't need to use an item or kill a boss. Of course if you wanted to keep being invited into games you could just go jump off a cliff and become a soul again.

Oh, forgot to mention: if you kill an invading player then you get all the souls they were carrying which can sometimes be a lot, conversely if an invading player kills you then they take all yours.

Yup, makes you fight harder though I guess. All the more reason to play from the launch of the US version, the Asian version has far too many max level people.

I got this version from eBay, but if you wait till the US version is out it'll be easier to import, assuming you aren't in the US that is.

Indicates I'm in a Soul Body and a guest of the player of that world, who is in his normal body (doesn't glow blue).
