The middle-weights are mostly chancers as well; Sonnen by his own admission was 203 lbs when he fought Marquardt and Silva looks as though he's around the same.

The middle-weights are mostly chancers as well; Sonnen by his own admission was 203 lbs when he fought Marquardt and Silva looks as though he's around the same.

Fedor only fought 4-5 top ranked opponents in the past 10 years, the majority of his career was spent fighting opponents that don't even rank in the top 20 and sideshow freaks like Hong man choi.

@leaderOFlosers what's with the blind faith in these rankings all of a sudden? in 02-06 when MMA was in its apex particularly in Japan; Fedor took on all comers under a superior format too. With 10min. 1st rd., 4point attacks & tournament participation; facing Nogueira on multiple occasions, Herring, Schilt, Goodrigde, TK, Randleman, Ogawa, former ufc & GP Champ Coleman twice, Hunt & Crocop in his prime. Not to mention routing 2 former ufc champs in Strikeforce; and you argue rankings?
