  • was that a miss fire when you are out of rounds?

  • 1:20 thought you said you were "outa rounds"?.

  • 1:18 is where I would never trust this man again.

  • @DodgeMan360 It's saltwater resistant, so it can be used on boats and near the coast where there is lots of salt in the air and makes guns more prone to rust.

  • That's a beautiful weapon... now if I want to swap the barrels, I'm going to have to nickel plate the replacement. Oh well. :)

  • @iLikeBuildingStuff Or you can just leave it like it is, and have an hybrid like those "ricer" Celicas with bodykits.

  • Sorry @ 1:18 is when the action begins and the shooter says "I'm out of rounds".

  • At 1:20 " wait one more" then the shooter says " I'm out of ammo". Would the next sound be another shot from the "empty" shotgun this moron is holding? Maybe?

  • Whats the significance of the "Marine" name? Theyre nice looking shotguns

  • at 1:45 it sounds like aliens talking

  • @ScopedPewPew and @kingofthe40oz you guys are the kind of dumb and lazy sacks of shit that make these places the slovenly mess they are. If not liking to wallow in my own filth and being responsible makes me a tree hugging bitch, I happily wear that badge.

  • Looks like he's in a third world country.

  • The best gun to own in areas prone to hurricanes. I live in Floriduh.

  • Dude! Look how shitty your yard is now...dumb ass -__-

  • @BGriep68 kinda doubt thats his property.

  • I paid 499 dollars for mine back in 1994 when it was first produced been having it since and still looks brand new. As far as being shiny it's more of a textured finish that has a matte look to it in person. The finish is what makes it a great boat gun because it protects the finish from rust. Last one I saw at a big store chain it was selling for around 699

  • NICE!!! I want one. How much do they run for?

  • @souleaterwest Not sure about this exact gun but usually 250 +

  • I,m outa rounds BOOOOM

  • the guy that said "one more" almost got his frikin head blown off.

  • Kind of shameful when you see an area destroyed by shooters like that. Between the shells, plastic, and the lead contamination, it would take serious efforts to clean that area up. Way to represent the sport, even though it's just a game to you.

  • @diejestor Lead contamination? Do you expect people to pick up all of their rounds from the ground?

  • @wtfdudenotcool101 Nope! That would be absurd. but if you start off right, and set up backstops at desired distances or locations, the lead will at least be in patches, instead of all over the place. If someone was feeling industrious, sifting through the piles could get you some money for the scrap lead. What I would hope people would do is at least pick up their shells and trash. This looks like one of the many areas I've seen that people set up as an makeshift range, and destroy.

  • @diejestor This range was located in MS in the NASA buffer zone. It has since been closed, cleaned, and is overgown with vegetation.

  • @andreleger2001 Good to hear! (Not like I want any less ranges around, but that the place was cleaned up). There are places in the forest on OR where there's shotgun shells and crap instead of dirt. Really sad. Not only does a range look better when its kept clean, it is safer.

  • @andreleger2001 Now that's what I call a shame.

  • @diejestor

Agreed man. At my local outdoor range, any brass and shells you eject must be collected. Additionally, you have to clean up any plastic fragments.

  • @diejestor

i was gonna type up something smart about how you sound like a tree hugging bitch, but since im sick and feel like shit ill just leave it at that. you sound like a tree hugging bitch.

  • @diejestor Shut up will you, stupid mongrel hippy

  • @ScopedPewPew it's called responsible shooting. you make a mess at the range, you clean it up. It ain't that difficult to walk over and pick up your shells and targets.

and FYI: littering is still a crime... and if an officer walked up on you with a mess like the one in this video, you'd get charged with dumping, which can get you jailtime.

  • @fram4153 Yup I understand that I shoot too and I clean up my shells and the mess I make

  • @ScopedPewPew glad to hear it, I live in the south and a lot of people out here get their gun licenses and never practice responsible gun ownership. most of the outdoor ranges here look like this one after a few years.

  • @fram4153 I live way up north in Canadialand

  • @fram4153 What the hell is a gun license, your not from like Argentina are you?

  • @diejestor

    who gives a shit lol

  • @diejestor bro fuck the earth you know how gay6 life would be if we did nothing besides picking nuts and berrys all day. live a little... its a range at least most of its all in one place, walk threw the woods your bound to see a few on the ground there...

  • haha i cant im out of rounds... BOOOOOM

  • looks like a lot of Garbage in your garden sir. Plz remove it and safe your environment.

  • 1:22 = the predator

  • terrible video, cool shotgun.

  • im outa rounds boooom

  • do I hear chewbacca?

  • im out of rounds i have to... *BOOM!*

  • how much was it

  • I can't believe they charge $300 more for that finish. It's the same as any other 870 magnum.

  • DEMON CHILD!!!!

  • Nice shotgun, keep doin what your doin but can i just say this. I dont know if you picked your spent shells or trash up but the people who left all that trash there should be ashamed of them selves! That is fucking sick and disgusting!

  • Shiiiiiiiinyyyyyyyyyyy... sorry. Now that that's out of my system, nice shooting, nice weapon.

  • first gun i ever fired.

makes a real nice sound when you rack it.

  • Well, water jugs will sure as hell think twice before they give you any trouble again. The slugs effectively made the water go away; very nice. That's a damn fine weapon sir. Thinking about getting one myself but most of the people I talk to are recommending a mossberg. Obviously you've got an 870 but what made you choose it or which do you prefer for what reason?

  • @pleasuretrip The Mossberg 500 is also a great gun. Either one will get the job done. I have owned both and it is really just a personal preference for the Remington.

  • @pleasuretrip I like the remington because you can pull the gun into your shoulder with with your left hand (or whatever hand you have on the fore end) and when the gun goes off, the tension exerted on the fore end causes it to come back on the pull of the trigger. Making it much faster to chamber a round. On the mossberg, tension on the fore end has to be released and then pumped. The mossberg is slower, nowhere near as smooth-cycling, and the magazine has no cover like the remington,

  • @pleasuretrip Also, Keep in mind, that I never said the mossberg was a bad gun. My friend has one and he loves it, I have one too but I'd take my 870 over that mossberg any day. Plus the shiny finish looks cool and after all, chicks like shiny things. I tell them all the time, "Hey, look at this." "OMG it's so shiny!" "It's pretty big too, eh?" "Yeah it's really big!" "Wanna see my shotgun too?" .........What were we talking about?

  • @pleasuretrip put it this way... Remington 870 is the most sold shotgun in the world, and Is currently the most popular among guns in police services and military around the world. Research it. Mossberg is well known too sometimes its just personal preference

  • nice trash heap

  • Low rating cause u used pepsi bottles

  • fuckin sweet ! second to last bottle just fainted it was so scared

  • Been very happy with mine.

  • did a plug come with it? in case i wanted to deer hunt with it dont ask why

  • @xxYOURUNBORNCHILDxx I think it did actually.

  • @xxYOURUNBORNCHILDxx thanks now i know what im buying next my second 870. o and can the mag tube extension be removed

  • Man: *Loads 870* Honey, I'm going out to water the lawn! *Slams door*

    Wife: ... 0_o

  • Does it come with the sling slots.

  • @870Remington12 Yes it was already set to add a sling.

  • @andreleger2001 My father picked one up before the Fla.hurricane season in 2004. They live 40 miles inland in Centeral Fla. But its a good gun to keep around. He's an old quail hunter from New Mexico. He can still put the barrel on a target in milli-seconds. Good video!!

  • the zombie invasion awaits us..,.

  • bout to buy mine today did it come with a sling

  • @czbaby12 No I added that.

  • @andreleger2001 i got a sling with mine?

  • does anyone have an 18 inch barrel that they would be willing to sell or trade? thanks

  • Total sweetness...I'm gonna be planning one of two things this weekend. A park field football game with friends or an outting to a sportsmens club to learn how to aim and fire one of those kickass magnum's.

  • camera man fuckd up on that film job

  • That is a sharp looking gun!

  • The Marine Magnum isn't just a slug gun is it?

  • @derkcloud No its a cylinder bore shotgun so any load is fine (except sabot slugs which tend to tumble without rifiling).

  • @andreleger2001 hey, I am really interested in either this shotgun or the Remington 887...kinda new to shotguns and I'm wondering how bad is the kick on this 12 gauge.. i guess the 887 takes 54% of the recoil, I've only ever shot a 20 gauge and that was only 2 shells...anyway I'm in the market because my house was burgled, and any assistance would be helpful..if it helps im 5'11 and around 200 lbs. thank you.

  • why would marines carry a shiny silver gun... just sayin i may be completely wrong tho if i am then i am sorry

  • @ftball96 Marine in the name refers to the location (marine saltwater environment) rather than the armed force.

  • @ftball96 Marine in the name refers to the location (marine saltwater environment) rather than the armed force.

  • @andreleger2001

thank you i would have never thought of it like that. it was odd to me that it was silver. lol

  • @ftball96

    I always wondered that myself.

  • never doubt the redneck and his shotty

  • Wish they still made this model for civilians. Not listed anywhere on the Remington website and no retailer still sells it as far as I can tell.

I would ALMOST kill for them to make the 870 Tactical in a Marine finish.

  • @metalfaust19 Weird, I just saw one in my local store tonight (Marine 870)

  • @demoncleaner80 Yeah, actually, it IS on the Remington website, it's just kind of buried on their big list of 870 variations. I guess they do still make it, but I just NEVER see this for sale anywhere locally, not even at gun shows anymore. So a lack of local supply combined with the fact that the Marine Magnum was kind of elusive to find on the Remington website made me believe it was discontinued.

Only thing I hate about the Marine is that the mag tube sticks out a bit beyond the barrel.

  • perfect for some niggers skull

  • @tubeyou44542 if you got hate in ur heart jus let it out, mmmmmmm KAY!!

  • Would you buy it again?

  • @Wharris65 Sure.

  • I'm out rounds I'll have to lo- BOOM... please learn to count and atleast safety check the weapon before it's lowered.. holy crap even I have more sense..

  • @abzdefg321123 There was another shooter on the firing line. That was an AK-47 fired from the guy standing next to me. I was out of rounds.

  • @abzdefg321123 dumbass hater!!!!

  • @frodo70444 lol...

  • The Marines use autoloaders, Beretta spinoffs by Benelli. Also Remington makes an 870 designed specifically for slugs, the Slugmaster, if people are looking for a hunting gun.

  • @creamydunkz, I believe this gun is called the "Marine Magnum", not because the US Marines use it, but instead because the nickle plating is corrosion resistant and ideal for marine locations.

  • how many shells does it hold in the tube?

  • @vetrix The capacity is 6+1.

  • @andreleger2001 thanks

  • @andreleger2001 i'm trying to make sense of that -one shot is ready to go, with 6 backups?

  • @PirateBrouwer 6+1 means 6 in the tube (or magazine if your talking hanguns) and 1 in the chamber.

  • I'm outta rounds, I gotta relo... BOOOOM!!!

    Whoops.

  • Not a nice day to be a water bottle.

  • whats the range like with a slug?

  • @jackncope On this gun I would say about 100 yards.

  • so can you shoot deer slugs out of this gun?

  • @jackncope Yes. However this gun does not have a plug. (It may have come with one I cant remember) If you were to use it for hunting deer (at least in my state) a plug limiting the capacity to 2 +1 would be required. This gun has a cylinder bore (no choke) and a relatively short 18-inch barrel. It is mainly designed for self-defense not hunting, but you could hunt with it in a pinch.

  • @andreleger2001 your state requires a plug for deer hunting? in my state we only need a plug for water fowl. we can 5+1 for deer if your gun can hold that. this gun would be legal in iowa for deer lol. Thats what i got mine for lol

  • they did it was their doorbreaching weapon, question what were thoese clear shells?

  • @2acecapone1 The shells are Quick-Shok Slugs. I do not think they are in production anymore.

  • @2acecapone1 The Mossberg M590A1 is the standard pump shotgun of the United States Marine Corps. Used for doorbreaching. I own both weapons. The 590A1 MilSpec and the 870 Marine Magnum. Love them both.

  • Nice pump. Love the marine capability.

  • Nice shooting there buddy!

  • the little brace on the front of the gun, connects the barrel and the magazine tube and has the little nob on the bottom for the sling....... has anyone else ever had a problem with theres sliding forward when your shooting it and scratching the gun?

and dont tell me to tighten it please, tightened it as tight as can be it still scoots forward after every shot and im getting frustrated.

the magical $650 gun that scratches itself

  • I hate when people slow the vid. Keep that on crap on Break

  • looks like you waters got some lead in it

  • i have an 870 express magnum and i love it

  • is it used by the marines?

  • @chingchong54 I think the Marine Magnum name is due to its electroless nickel plating that makes it very rust resistant compared to normal bluing even in a saltwater (marine) environment. It is a very good shotgun and I would not be surprised if the marines did use a variant of the 870.

  • @andreleger2001 They do.

  • @andreleger2001 they do its called the master key its an under barrel attachment as far as i know its just used for shooting off locks on doors not combat. they do use the benelli(sp?) m4

  • @chingchong54

lol the marine designation is because the nicker or chrome finish im not sure what it really is. is designed for maritime use and doesnt corrode as easy as some other finishes when around salt water. i dont think the marine core uses it much but i could be wrong. i do know that the coast guard has a bunch.

  • @chingchong54 Hey ching chong Mongols ! Not for idiot Marines. . .US Marines don't know how to use guns. . .why ? Because Marines & Mongols all day front the Computers to distort good US .. . then they mix the Chemical weapons to kill the good US citizen . .Sample likes 1979 in Pennsylvania . . .

  • @dmtau if your saying im a know life computer whiz with no fire arm experience your wrong go to my channel and youll see a video of me shooting an 870 and a try to fit physicle fitness into my every day life so i can go into the rangers someday peace and love man enjoy your day

  • @chingchong54 Can you speak English ? Dmtau said . . . US Marines. . .

Are you a Marine?.. . .So you are Mongols? If you are .. . "good shooting" go to battle & tell what ever Mongols soldier left over in US land . .Then tell them "Get out the holes. .fight likes the men " . . .Enjoy your day too!

  • @chingchong54 not any more they use the benneli m4

  • damn i ve been looking for one i know its kinda personal to some but how much cash did you drop for that beauty? if i may ask

  • @Ablethe7 I bought it probably 7 years ago. I think I paid in the neighborhood of $550.00 for it. I'm sure they can be had for less used with a bit of looking. It's a great shotgun that is well built.

  • @andreleger2001:

They now go for $700+ here in Southern California and always sell out fast.

  • Nice shootin this is what i do all the time lol just shoot water jugs right off my porch lmao but i need a 870

  • Devastating!

  • God, don't Remmies just look beautiful in nickel?

    *drools*

  • I hope you cleaned the area, USA is the most poluated country in the world!!

  • Funny coming from someone from France you cant even clean yourself . And no the United states does not come close to the dirtiest look it up You have most of Asia,Africa,Mexico, Russia, South America and this is fact.

  • Don't take it bad, I just said something that is a fact, otherwise I like American people, they are very communicative and respectuous... But not the government!!

    :)

  • @dairhoff Actually dude, you're right about our government. It's getting worse every month. That's why all you people need to get your guns to defend yourselves from tyrannical government!

  • @dairhoff no japan is

  • america fuck yeah

  • what size shells does it take? 2 3/4 inch?

  • @Richet125 It chambers either 2 3/4" or 3" shells.

  • I'm looking for a marine shotgun, I was looking at the 870 but its not polished from what I keep seeing. I shot my friends Winchester Defender, it was similar but his was nickle plated then chrome polished. Thats what I'm looking for and I don't think the RMM is as shiny. But anyways nice gun anyway. Remington has always been good to me

  • Any electroplating company could polish the stainless steel of this gun to a mirror finish for very little cost.

  • @shazdee This shotgun has an electroless nickel finish not stainless.

  • Hellofa nice shotgun...

  • @ginn9555

By the way you talk, no wonder you only have a airsoft gun

  • Marine magnum is not about being flashy - its about having a finish that will resist corrosion. Something you can leave in your boat without having to worry.

Also, Remingtons are not overpriced at all - most 870s can be had for $200-$250 and with 70 years in production, the vast amount of aftermarket parts make it one of the best choices for pump. The Remi 870 HD I had was $350. The Marine was $450, meaning you only pay $100 for Stainles compared to $200-$300 to Parkerize.

  • It's a 870 it's not a POS, I own the m also and lovit. Kinda flashy but beautiful.

  • I would love a private range, but if I had one, I could not afford all the ammo I would be forced to shoot daily. ;)

  • No, I am not the only one that shoots here. We pick up whatever we bring to this range but obviously others are not so tidy.

  • lol look at that mess! I wish my range was like that.

  • haha nice you ever shot skeet at honey island swamp that place is beast

  • I have not been there yet. I have heard its a great range, but have yet to check it out. A lot of times we run over to Mississipi to shoot in the buffer zone.

  • ive never heard of buffer zone but honey island has a great shotgun range with 3 throwers, nice rifle range its got some tin plates al the way in the back, and i used the handgun once when my dad brought his 9mm but if you ever go by there checj it out its 5 bucks if your 16 or older and bring your own skeet its my favorite of the 2 ive been to the other is talow creek that place is expensive as all hell

  • I have been to tallow creek a few times before. The range is not as well kept up for what you pay for. It is, however, closer than other ranges. Still, the Mississippi range is free. You just have to pay for the gas to get there.

  • thats pretty cool how is the rifle range do you put up your own targets when the range is cool or does it have targets already there?

  • Its more of a 'everyone comes and shoots here' type of range. Bring whatever targets you want and blast away.

  • Nice!!!!!

  • So good!!

  • does that thing take 3 1/2 inch too .

  • No this one only takes 2 3/4 and 3 inch magnums.

  • Hey do you have to remove the chock before you shoot slugs?

  • In this gun there is a cylinder bore (no choke) so there is notthing to remove. Even in a shotgun with a removable choke, slugs should still be under the size limit. Check with your gun manufacturer to be sure.

  • I know I may seem stupid asking this but whats the difference between 6,12,or 20 gauge shotguns?

  • I have never heard of a 6 Ga, but that does not mean they dont exist. Common gauges are 10, 12, 16, 20, 28, and .410 - all of them with the exception of the .410 are the number of lead balls that are the bore diam. that make up a pound of weight. So 12 Ga is 12 lead balls that make a pound. .410 is an actual bore diam. which would be the exception. So, lower gauge numbers are bigger bores.

  • Oh ok I figured you did. I grew up in louisiana. Pretty country up around Mississippi

  • the marine mags with wood furniture are absolutely gorgeous with the matte chrome finish.
