  • crazy sound ^^

  • i love hummers, theres a mystery about them i have yet to understand... how do they propell themselves with no wings?

  • They have a very small vent for the gases that the burning fuel produces, this creates a lot of thrust from the vent and the vents position causes the hummers to spin off axis very fast creating the zipping sound and propulsion.

  • wow thanks for filling me in! i woulda never guessed...

  • hahah xD

  • THE BEST potted shell ever.srry bout the potted shell but gr8 effect none the less ALOHA

  • Thanks, it was supposed to be a pot. Mines are shells that just shower their effects straight out of the mortar. I like mines but hummers are a pain to make.

  • wow that was fantastic. i luaghed loudly when i saw this video

  • Awesome 5*

  • they need that effect more in fireworks.

  • very nice, hahaha, "It worked reasonably well" of course it did mat, lol

  • Cool

  • Cool :D

  • excellent!!

  • ha ha ha cool!

  • Funny thing!

  • I like that comment on your vid'... "It worked reasonably well...", if I'd done that I'd be jumping up and down with glee... lol.

  • whahahahaha the sounds are great so damn funny you make them your self right? why dont you sell them in holland! i`ll buy each and every of it ! xD

  • nice sweet sound and stars

  • hey awesome stuff! what did u use to get that insane sound?

  • lots of gas going htrough a small hole

  • Wow man, that looked and sounded great.

  • Nice. It worked reasonably well.

  • I think they were 3/8" ID inserts, about an inch and a quarter.

  • Is it a 4" cylinder shell with like 15 1/2" hummer inserts?

I tried mine w\ blackmatch fuses on hummer and it came out decently... But I don't really have anything to add for sparks...

  • how did u make this. did u just take a 4" mortar then out bp(lift) in the tube then put hummers in it. how big where the hummers?

  • Hmm this video won't load for me :(

  • Oh and Xeno it was Visco, I just primed it before I loaded the shell.

  • Yup, only ones I have right now. I need longer tubes.

  • Haha, the sound is so cute...You use your very fast hummers?

  • Oh. I wouldn't have thought that a fuse would have ignited from the lift charge. It wasn't visco I assume?

Thanks for answering my inept questions :-)

Its harder to find simple basics like that on most websites, people are always building on what they already know on most forums, so inevitably the basics are lost in all the advanced jabber, thats why I kind of liked PyroGuide. Not a lot there, but it covers the basics.

  • i love pyrogide

  • It has a fuse going through the vent, that is how it ignites.

  • So.... That means its basically a fuseless hummer... haha!

  • No a hummer insert is basically a sealed tube with an off center vent that causes it to spin off center making a pretty cool sound.

  • That was awesome!! Those were like, pillbox stars... right?
