does xbox have motion?no. i don't think so. hd-dvd has 30 gigs. Blu-ray has 50 gigs. PS3 uses blu ray.Microsoft,the maker of windows, didn't even put a web browser in the xbox. I have a ps3.Everyone that came to my house and played it loved it.Those people had wii and 360.XBOX dosen't have a a great music player. You can't connect usbs to an xbox, like keyboards, mice and stuff. Microsoft, the headphones are wired. PS3 headphones are bluetooth.XBOX dosent even have HDMI for petes sake.

i have both, and i both like them, but you have some mistakes here: xbox has a good music / film player (even streaming form pc over network) It has HDMI and it has dual usb for usb sticks. The headphne is wired, but only wired to your controller. So far the facts. I like them both, but just giving you the tech facts.

Not really. As far as graphics go they are very close. The extra money you pay for PS3 is mainly for the BlueRay ,HDMI and the 60 gig harddrive. Get the facts, as far as graphics they are pretty much the same. Sorry to burst yer bubble.

Yes there is Linux for the PS3 they partnered with Yellow Dog.

And no it is not restricted, it is a FULL linux install which virtually turns the console into a PC.
