I am from Chuck's state, Nebraska. home to many moderates we're sick of the lies and cover ups the SO called Candidates that GOP and DNC choose FOR us thats FALSE CHOICE. the same people say some people are Un-electable, ugh how can that be? Everyone could be voted for, therefore everyone is electable. fuck Corporate America, north american union, bush/cheney, defense-industrial-media complex! find out what you can from Bilderberg group!
I'll agree to that. Lieberman is sputtering nonsense, Hagel is talking sense. Lieberman is caught up in DC beltway nonsense, Hagel's thinking of the real consequences of bad policy on real troops and the country. And neither is much a representive of the mainstream of their party.
A rare honest Senator that understands foreign policy. Too bad we'll get Guiliani(zionist) or McCain(sold out) that will continue the Bush Rapture(rape of the palestinians)
Yeah they don't pick the intelligent honest upstanding republicans for president. He is a true conservative; because he is not fake and bought, they won't pick him. Gotta love politics.
Actually, I think if Hagel ran, and offered Americans sober honesty and intelligent answers on the issues (for a change), voters would eat it up and the recently crooked "straight talk" express would run into a ditch. Ghouliani will no doubt be fodder for former Bush/McCain hatchet men, and voters will be repelled by both. So don't count Hagel out yet.
I don't agree with Senator Hagel on a lot of things, but he shows here that he's not a hack. He is an intelligent and decent person. Wish more conservatives were like him.
I am a proud liberal Democrat, I am sure I disagree with this man on many issues, but on this point I say Republican Senator Chuck Hagel, especially since he is a Republican, deserves to be called a patriot for having the courage to speak truth to his own party and the country.
The Liberal Democratic Party of Japan? Is that the kind of liberal Democrat you are? You live in Japan. I don't understand how you could mean American Democrat.
Because I'm American, an American living overseas, just like millions of others living all over the world. I voted in the last election by absentee ballot, and judging by many posts on YouTube, a heck more informed on the issues of my home nation than many that live there. U.S. defense policy is RATHER important to Americans in Asia, especially North Korea; we'll get nuked before Palo Alto if they decide to unlease, & we're seeing stretched US miliary in Asia sucked over to Iraq.
BTW, I favor DPJ over the LDP, as LDP is about as "Liberal" as their beloved Thatcher, but both parties suffer from being more in touch with Tokyo central than their citizens across the country, just like US politicians caught up in the D.C. beltway bubble. If Hagel can speak to NK issues intelligently and honestly (something new for the U.S.) I would consider voting for him for President, depending on the Dem. opponent, and his views on other issues.
I know because its on your YouTube profile -- just click on your own name as you did mine, and there it is. If you prefer certain details to be private I suggest YouTube->account->profile->public profile->edit->remove (from public viewing). It's easy to do. Happy New Year.
I just wanted to know why you said it. Whether it was because you saw it on my profile or because you know the place or live there. I know it's on my profile and that I can see it on yours. That's how I knew you were from Japan remember?
If you go back and reread what I wrote it's fairly clear - "U.S. defense policy is RATHER important to Americans in Asia, especially North Korea; we'll get nuked before Palo Alto if they decide to unlease" the point being whether Palo Alto or Albany, NY, Americans within the border of the US right now are no more American than those overseas, and are affected by (bad) US foreign policy. So cheers to Hagel.
Chuck Hagel - I most of the time vote for Democrats - but if you ran, I would vote for you.
Thank you for being a SANE Republican.

Nice to see not every GOP senator is a mindless loony-bag. You tell em' Chuck! You're the exact polar opposite of Lieberman.

Oh wow, that's a sweet tie. Anyways, next to John McCain, he's one of my favorite Republican politicians.
