Its not because it was ahead of its time or any conspiracy nonsense, it was cancelled because it couldn't get the ratings to justify its time slot because it was on air at the same time as other whedon shows, so FOX was creating unfriendly competition for itself by having two shows for the same crowd.

We all miss it, but don't hate it being gone for the wrong reasons

Firefly was justt ahead of it's time. It's really sad, cuz If it premiered this year or last year it would be a smash hit. Someone in the industry truly should meet with Fox and make some sort of proposal. I'm surprised all the Firefly / Serenity fans didn't come together and make an organization to have the show re-instated years ago.

Only just watched the first and only season of this on DVD earlier this week after being told to watch it and I must say this show has promise why hasnt wheddon gone back to fox or get the title and rights back and go somewhere else to make another season? The viewer base is there still from when it was on fox lol just a shame fox fucked it up.

Oh, THANK YOU for re-uploading this video. SO many times I wanted to show people this vid to tell them why they should give Firefly a chance, but it just vanished and I couldn't find it (only found it accidentally today) and it put a smile on my face.
