  • I can't understand the last part "when I grow up"

  • @sashabadillo it says 'when I grow up, it will be good, I'll use the potty like a big kid'

  • I want to start signing for my little one, so far we have a book about it. We have only started signing milk. This song excites me to try more. Thank you!

  • There are different sign languages in each country. In the US, ASL is it's own language and other modes are PSE, SEE I and SEE II. Lot's of variations.

  • i think its GREAT (: Happy Mother day

  • I am trying to learn sign language because my nephew is autistic, these kind of videos are helpping me out alot. now i can learn how to communicate with him. :)

  • hello i have a question..is there sing language in spanish?

  • @flakita572 yes there is sign language in Spanish. Just google 'Spanish Sign Language' and you'll find info on it.

very pretty teaching on the children

  • Hello there!

I noticed in the other comments, you said

"ASL (or whatever sign language you choose)"

What other sign languages are there?

    Thank you!

  • @sheilyah It would depend on where you lived on which sign language you'd use. If you lived in the UK you'd use BSL, if you lived in Australia you'd use AUSLAN etc. There are many many different sign languages :-)

  • @SmartHandsCA It's a shame they're not all the same language!

  • this song is in my head and its so cool :D im definately when I have children teaching my children sign language or I can help others

  • wooooooooooooooooooooow :) kl and cute babies too

  • hi am form englidh and a intrest in asl but am bsl and half asl (only albeth)so if you can can u sign asl slow so me undstand

  • I love this, it's so cool!

  • Is this a class for the parents of deaf babies to learn as well as the children or is it like just for parents to learn so they can teach their kids on their own? i'd love to know! I'm in my second Year of ASL and im really getting into the baby signing stuff. I only have one more year in school so i'm going to continue to learn outside of school because i want my children to be involved in Deaf Culture, be they hearing or deaf. are there alot of classes like this around?

  • These classes are designed for hearing babies. Deaf babies should be taught more formal ASL and parents of deaf babies should learn from another deaf adult. Even though we teach ASL signs we are not teaching the full formal ASL, it is a very complex language (as you know). I agree with you about wanting my children to know about and be involved in Deaf Culture!

    :-)

  • i agree. but it is still very cute.

  • i think its GREAT (:

  • This is such a great song, the tone is very catchy!

  • Hello Laura,

I've just spend over an hour watching all the different videos of yours. I have a question regarding a multi-language family such as my will be: I'm Czech, my husband English. We're planning on moving to France. So kids, when they come, will learn actually learn 3 languages (I will definitely teach them Czech). I'd also like to sign with them. Isn't that a bit too much for a little brain? Thank you.

  • Hi! Actually signing in a mulit-lingual home is a great idea because it helps link the languages. Because you would use ASL (or whatever sign language you choose) to teach specific words in your language rather than teaching them the whole sign language it can be used when speaking both languages. For example, if you sign and say 'milk' in English and then sign and say it in French the baby will realize the two words mean the same thing. It is a great link between languages!

  • I'm sold!

  • this is so cool. I decided I wanted to learn asl so i youtubed and found you. So you're teaching me stuff. haha. Thanks for sharing! I'll definitely sign with my kids when i'm older and have them. :)

  • these videos are great! i found you on youtube about 6 months ago. Ever since i have found sign language and baby signing fascinating! i will definitely sign with my children when that time comes!

  • Great song!!!! *hat goes off to the hubby* ;)
