Thank YOU for sharing YOUR awesome gifts of the heart. I am a working actor here in New York, and had the privilege of seeing Natasha on-stage. You couldn't have said it better. God bless you.
I remember seeing her in The Parent Trap when I was 8 years old. It became one of my favorite movies and I always remembered how real and genuine her performance seemed. She was a great actress who will be truly missed.
I don't know if my comment went through or not...I just wanted to apologize for writing Vanessa's name rather than Natasha's. I was crying and VERY upset when I was listening to you and thinking about Natasha and how her Mum must feel. I have a strong bond with my Mom and my GF's Mom just had a terrible car accident last week. Anyway, I was upset & thinking of a mother's love @ the same time..TY for understanding & not making fun of my misprint, as many would have.
From what doctors have said, a helmet woudn't have mattered all that much. Then again, sometimes seat belts don't save lives, but it doesn't mean that we shouldn't wear them. I am still so sad about this....
thanks for the little share...she's very dear to us.....altough its really long a a little bit slow--that was very brave of you to show up talking about a great actress i saw in parent trap....i love her....RIP natasha
i saw natasha in "patty hearst" when it first came out in the late '80s, because i was really into that story in the '70s. i've respected her ever since. thank you for your view on the arts and for posting this poignant tribute. you seem quite tender, intelligent and sincere. and very, very cool.
ps: i hit my head in a car accident and was forced to get a catscan even though i felt fine. luckily, i was fine, but it should be mandatory.
r.i.p natasha you were a wonderful and beautiful woman and condolances to the family its so sad. BTW is that movie (the handmaid tale) from the margret atwood novel?
A lovely tribute. Thank you. The first movie I've seen with Natasha Richardson was Nell. I never saw the Handmaid's Tale though I've always been meaning to. I'm going to order it now from Netflix.
I want to thank you for posting this video. I have been crying since I heard the news of Vanessa's death. My first "experience" with Natasha's talent was in the AMAZING film, "Asylum." Since the first time I viewed it, I have seen it over 25 times! That is how Vanessa MOVED me. The film isn't well known and the critics were not fond, but that film was so full of passion, darkness, sadness and beauty. I just don't want to believe this.... =(
Oh my gosh! I just read my post...obviously, I wrote Vanessa instead of Natasha a couple of times. Honestly, I was crying as I listened to your words and thinking of how Natasha's Mother must be feeling...I was so upset and I do apologize for the blunder. Just thinking of her entire family, especially a Mother's love, had Vanessa on my mind too. I am also thinking about Moms a lot these days b/c of some personal issues. Regardless, I appreciate that you understood what I meant. Thank you.
=( I love the way you shared your thoughts about Ms. Natasha! I do feel the same. I saw her in Parent Trap when I was 10 years old.

It's quite all right, I knew exactly what was going on... What's most important is that your sentiment was expressed. Thank you!

I agree, they should be mandatory. Sometimes we shrug off the seriousness of how important our own health is, everything else pales to that.

I appreciate you sharing the way Natasha's talent touched you. It only proves the impact a person's talent can have on others.
