...tutti gabbati indeed...the Toscanini version of 1952 or thereabouts used also three of these singers in this cast.....the Toscanini version is more clearly defined , incisive and articulated, but I admire Reiner and sure will take this version....better see if Amazon has this set.......
OMG, what a cast and conductor! Seven great singers, one of the greatest conductors, and one of the greatest fugues ever written! Many, many thanks for sharing this!
