Hello Phuoc, i am not sure how old you are, but i have leave in the US since I was 8 years old, and i am 37 now. The hectic/chaotic is actually PROGRESS...the country is currently redevelop. A lot of constructions and alot things changing every month and year. That is because VN is a developing country we want to move forward to be a developed country like S. Korea by 2025. I have just landed in VN 3 days ago for a $120K a year job with my family and 3 boys (6, 5, and 2 years old).

wow, you're really like my grandfather. I'm still in Germany and I still go further to the other coutry to serve dawn of future in Viet Nam. I left VN before 2000 and return VN to visit after 2000(a short time but enough to see how VN's developing and enough to enjoyed its dawn)

I went to England and saw their civilization,I know why do you insult the civilization in VN.But I already saw the life in Italy,a democracy country without the damn war and embargo like VN,but you still see the beggars on the street,children working on the street,Italian have to go abroad to earn money,too, Italian women want to marry German or English to improve their lives,too.

in war, both sides do bad things. As bad as they could to survive. So yeah, I think the previous generation still holds the grudge. After all I think we're all victims. The fact that we still remember what happened means the effects of the war will at least last for several more generations. That's a shame.

Regarding Vietnamese marrying foreigners, because Vietnamese guys like you didn't want to marry them... Plus, what's wrong with marrying a foreigners...??? There's a bad apples in every barrel... Hey Tieuhavn, your parents and you must be HO, i understand your family and you probably gone through a lot and loosing everything you have since the liberation of the South, but that's part of War. Thang lam vua, thua lam vat...(Winner becomes emperor, looser becomes peasant.) VN is a wonderful country with people from all over the world to come here and do business. Hmmm, I am more and more convincing that you are not Vietnamese. You are trying put a grudge between VN & China. China is the big dog around here... VN does not kowtow to anyone, not even China. VN is smart, while China written the Art of War by Sun Tzu, VN has been practicing it and improving it... China and Viet Nam has a common history... We fought each other but we also know each other very well...and of all Asian countries, China probably respected only 2 countries..VN and Japan.

"Dawn of a new Century"...uh...in terms of what? Advancement? Econcomic? Scholars? Honestly, I packback through VN last summer after Uni and found that my ex-country to be hectic/choatic more than any other country I have ever been to. The only advancement is the rich getting richer. We need to wake up and realize that a country should be run by its people.

Hello Phuoc, i am not sure how old you are, but i have leave in the US since I was 8 years old, and i am 37 now. The hectic/chaotic is actually PROGRESS...the country is currently redevelop. A lot of constructions and alot things changing every month and year. That is because VN is a developing country we want to move forward to be a developed country like S. Korea by 2025. I have just landed in VN 3 days ago for a $120K a year job with my family and 3 boys (6, 5, and 2 years old).
