@senderjaeger Thanks. Overall, I'm pleased with the G3. Actually this is the second sample, as first one I sent to warranty due to severe sync problems. This one it's better in this regard, especially when using the external antenna, but it seems it has many images on FM band. Anyway, I'm gonna get a Tecsun PL-310 for FM, and maybe an ATS-909X sometime.

@dxNovice The actual manufacturer (Degen, China) is reported to have had some trouble with the quality control on early production samples of the G3, resulting in malfunction of the SYNC. Those issues are reported to be fixed now, so the SYNC feature works properly on newer G3 and DE1106 sets. How does the RDS on your G3 perform?

@senderjaeger I knew about the quality control problem from the day I bought it, I just hoped I'll be lucky. Regarding RDS, I don't have any other portable RDS equipped to compare it, but this usually get the RDS data on an average signal. There are exceptions too, as I can't get the RDS data from a local station, even if the signal meter is full and the transmitter is just a few km away.

@pesnyaozemle Thank you. I finally managed to get the optimum position for antenna, at 0.5 m outside of my balcony, and now the noise level is greatly reduced. So I think better receptions will follow.
