@renton7585 Yes you could. You wouldn't need the pontoons, just put a hole in the hull for the shaft tube and seal around it, and as long as the shaft top ends above the waterline, you won't need to worry about a shaft seal at the motor.

@swarne8 shaft and prop are stainless steel and drilled and bolted together. The motor is coupled directly to the shaft.
