I'd like to see this done on the PC/Saturn/PSX version (which is also on the PS2 Collection set). -The difficulty level on those versions is miles ahead of the SNES version. (Sigma releases at least double the amount of mines/torpedoes in each burst)! -In fact you practically need the 'gold' enhancement to beat the game!

Somewhat easier, the cycles of each attack are for more quicker to master/dodge on the SNES. -On the other ports you lose at least 40% energy without Armour by an enemy (and 50% from a boss), and 30% with Armour from enemies and bosses. -So on CD ports I always suggest holding out and not getting the saber/chips and just getting the gold Armour in Doppler stage 1.

It's a secret upgrade that gives X the benefits of all of the chips that are obtained from the pink capsules. Normally, you can only get one chip per play-through.

You have to get to the area in the first stage of Doppler's lab that has the rolling spiked balls with all of the collectibles and full health (but no chips). Slide down the left side of the first pit in that corridor and you'll go through the wall, revealing a hidden room that contains a capsule.

It can't be saved with a password.

When you fail to kill them (deal the final blow with a weapon they're weak to) you fight them again in Sigma's fortress.

Sure. 5768-1261-3627-8658 will get you to Sigma's fortress with no power-ups grabbed, and Bit, Byte, and Vile still alive.
