jesus is coming. the EU has made a 7 year treaty with Israel (European Neighborhood and Partnership Instrument). The bible said this would happen (daniel 9:27). in the middle of the seven years the antichrist is revealed. ENPI started in 2007. The antichrist is probably coming this summer. click my username for more details and easy explanation.
Greece Inside The Euro Will Become A Police State google this link . Britain, to come up with funds to bail out Euro members in difficulty.,Article 122, which allows the EU to 'encourage' all its members, including Britain, to come up with funds to bail out Euro members in difficulty.
Ungrateful little shitheads. No other country in the history of the EU benefitted more from our subsidies. With out the EU 50% of the Irish would still work in the farming sector thus being poor as shit
And tell me Leannan, where was Padraig Pearse during the 1980s recession? I have no problem recognising Padraig as a man of integrity, but he will not put food on my table in 2009.
Nor did Pearse put the food on the table during his own time. One cannot credit the EU with the economic upturn- and if they can, then that same institution can be blamed for its downfall. The economy has its natural course, and if the EU had anything to do with giving the state money to bring about the so-called 'Celtic Tiger', where does that have us now?
THEY PASSED IT.. WHAT CRAP! SO THIS BASICALLY MEANS YOUR ELECTED OFFICALS WILL NO LOGER HAVE AS MUCH SAY ABOUT LAWS AND MATTERS AT HAND?? iS THAT RIGHT? THE EU WILL HAVE MORE CONTROL?? I'M AMERICAN BUT THIS WILL EFFECT EVERYONE EVENTAULLY SO I'M TRYING TO UNDERSTAND THIS BETTER.
Yeah, our nations will have less power but that´s good. The eu-parlament gets strengthen which is also elected by us, so i don´t have a poroblem with that. Also because i don´t see any real differences between irish and dutch or french and german people except of the language.
The lisbon treaty may be not perfect, like every treaty it has it´s flaws. But the great advantage of this treaty is that after ratification further reforms will go faster!!
So the death penalty is a "flaw"? Or how about the fact that the yes campain got funding from their european counter parts which is in violation of our constitution? Or the fact that our democratic voice was ignored the first time and asked us again? They were kinda like Ms. Doyle from Father Ted. Keep asking until we say yes. And the whole Yes to Jobs was a scare tactic used by Brian Cowen and Lenihan (the latter who then denied this live on RTE before all the votes had even been counted!)
the EU commission make decisions that will effect all eu citizens and they are not elected.
There is great difference between EU citizens is the 'nature' of people from different countries, their culture and more.
You say the Lisbon treaty is 'not perfect' . To make such a bold assertion you must have read all 3,000 pages, yes that's how big the document is. What is called the 'Treaty 200+ pages is not the complete document. I suspect very few people have read the entire treaty.
This can end no other way besides war. It is inevitable. With all the rights that the EU intends to violate... God, it's like living in a Sci-Fi novel. It's to horrid to be real.
It passed. Did we really think the EU would settle for a no vote again? Did we think they would TELL the public if that happened? No. They'll repeat Nice and tell the world they got a 'Yes' the second time around.
Here here, Leannan. The foolish Eurocrats don't realize that if they take too much power from the people and they remain this stubborn and foolish, the people will fight to regain what we lost through trickery and deceit.
I don't see why we just don't leave the EU altogether. We need to... Michael Collin's birthday just passed. Definitely a less joyous event than usual in my household this year. But a more determined one, certainly...
I certainly think we should leave the EU, the way it is going. If they are not going to respect our democratic voice, I want nothing more to do with it. I forgave it with Nice but not this time. My great-grandfather fought in Boland's Mill in 1916. Sometimes, I hope there isn't an afterlife or heaven, as I'm ashamed of what he must be seeing now. Well, at least I can try to make him proud. Happy belated Birthday to the Big Fella by the way.
Ahaha then you're a better man than I- I was against them from day 1 and hell might have frozen over afore I forgave them for Nice! :P
Really! My great- granda fought at the GPO and was in the unit on duty that was with him on 22/8/22. Family still has a piece of the car... And that is the most true way I have ever heard it spoken! I should hate to think that our ancestors who fought for our freedom are watching us throw it back in their faces.
Sean Lemass was involved, albeit as a young lad, in the 1916 Rising. He was also strongly in favour of a United States of Europe. So you're mistaken, Leannan, in believing that Irish nationalism and partiipation in a strong Europe are mutually irreconcilable. You should buy the recently published book "Judging Lemass" and read about how a strong nationalist also saw the benefits inherent in much closer connections with Europe.
If you'll forgive me for saying so, your perspective is too narrow.
P.S. Would prefer European culture to the horrific "Country n' Western" influences which permeate this video. What a joke ; criticising Europe, but using an American accent to levy the criticism. I thought we were talking about Brussels (as opposed to the Grand Ol' Opry).
I understand how you might think thusly, however I assure you that you may rest easy knowing that I refuse to commit myself to a cause before I know everything about what I am believing in- it is wrong to take sides without first thoroughly finding out about the issue. I have chosen my side.
I have read 'Judging Lemass'- definitely food for thought. However, what Lemass did not take into account was the fact that a unified Europe in the current situation does not involve collaboration between the countries but one government apart from the people violating the natural rights of the people (Habeas corpus, etc.), something that DOES stand opposite nationalism. The very definition of nationalism, pride in one's heritage and culture, has been violated by the EU, and that is evident.
Perhaps you never read the European Court of Justice decision in Groener, a case involving a Dutch art teacher who was disqualified from teaching in the VEC in Dublin because of her inability to speak Irish? In its judgment the European Court of Justice specifically recognised the special place of the Irish language in our culture. So I don't know where you got hold of the somewhat wild idea that "pride in one's heritage and culture has been violated by the EU." The EU respects culture.
Off the top of my head, one instance would be the very fact that the Treaty undermines the right of our government to make its own decisions without the EU overriding anything they say is an insult to the men and women who died to create it- our heritage. They blur the lines between cultures by creating a European state. Is it impossible for Europe to have economic relations without becoming a totalitarian superstate? I should like to think so...
Under your logic, we should never have joined the EU in the first place back in 1973. You're entitled to that point of view. But you would be mistaken to assume that the principle of supremacy (insofar as it applies to Eu competences) is something created by the Lisbon Treaty. It's been recognised for decades.
Ahahaha even worse then! Yes, it has been, but Lisbon elaborates even more on that count. Either way, in my opinion, the EU does more ill than good for the country. Of course you too are entitled to your opinion.
The adoption of the Coal and Steel and EEC Treaties forged a new era of peace between France and Germany. Millions of Germans and French had lost their lives in two World Wars. Greater European co-operation has saved many lives over the past five decades.
So enough of these narrow-minded songs which can barely look beyond the shores of Ireland. We're part of a larger European project and - if this ensures that war remains a thing of the past - then so much the better.
And yet can you give me the number of how many Irish men and women went beyond our shores to FIGHT those wars you speak of? Even then, is it wrong of the Irish people to look out for the well being of Ireland?
As to ensuring that war remains a thing of the past, remember Tacitus-
You just don't get it, do you? There have been no wars between the EU Member States over the past fifty years. That, in itself, has to be a pointer as regards the future. You do the EU a disservice by promulgating the baseless idea that the EU will fuel future wars in Europe. The point is that tens of thousands of existing Irishmen and women have not perished in European wars precisely because of the existence of the EU.
The EU doesn't prevent war, democracy does. You can't name 5 wars between two democratic countries. While the EU and EU members have been involved in plenty of wars since the EEC, even in Europe. You just have to look at the Balkan.
Which EU Member States were involved in the Balkans? Remember that, at the time of Balkan atrocities, the EU was comprised of fifteen Member States (not twenty-seven) and none of these fifteen Member States were involved in the Balkans in an aggressive manner.
This list does not make sense. There was a European Community peacekeeping force in the Balkans in th e1980s and 1990s. But none of the above countries were involved in a belligerent manner in the Balkans. So I really do not get the point of your post.
Last time around, Paddy Power elevated a 'No' vote to favouritism on the final day of the vote The weight of money on a 'No' vote coerced them into changing the odds on the outcome of the referendum.
This time around, however, the odds against a 'No' victory remain stubbornly at 8'1 with Paddy Power. None of the 'No' punters believe that they can win. Otherwise, they would be investing huge sums of money with Paddy Power. But, this time around, that's simply not happening. And 'Yes' is 1/25.
*YES SIDE: all international chambers of commerce, most independent economists, 3 main political parties, IFA, IBEC, IDA, ISME, SIPTU, ICTU, most major trade unions, Small Firms Association, Pfizer, Ryanair, Intel, Microsoft.

Once you start to compare the EU to Stalinist USSR, you are in difficult territory. Because there is no comparison between the two entities. Sad (and indeed pathetic) that the proponents 'No' vote can't argue the Treaty on its merits and have to engage in misleading references to 1916/War of Independence/Stalinist Russia.
YES vote = no way back, we can't undo mistakes made in the treaty or the EU, our say in EU is halved. Some countries say is doubled.
NO vote = we are still in the EU, like we are now, and the EU must be more accountable to the people of Europe. It stops the runaway power of the EU parliament and its gravy train expenses.
The mature thing is to stand up and tell EU to correct the problems, not to give in to the accusing tut-tutting of EU politicians trying to tell us we should be embarrassed.
Here in Germany we are protected from large bits of the Lisbon Treaty/Constitution....you are not !
Voting YES will not bring you any gain and voting NO will bring you no loss.
"Germany's Constitutional Court forced the government to approve new laws to repair the damage the Treaty did to national democracy. Since the Irish have not taken similar measures, the Irish people should vote NO to the Treaty on democratic grounds" (Prof.Murswiek,University of Freiburg).
europe was set up as a free trade area we dont want to give up our country to the ferners we want to run our own country fuck the lisbon treaty Vote NO if we vote yes we will have less power than we did in the 1900s in the house of lords and we fought for our free dom dont throw it away

Declan ganley, an irish american with deep links to the USA military suddenly returns to Ireland to out spend the major political parties in his support for a no vote. open your eyes, he is being funded by the US government to keep europe weak and divided
Thank you eire and stay strong for europe as long as you vote with no its ok for all people of all countries in germany they dont let us vote-thats what they call democratie its a regime..
YES SIDE: all international chambers of commerce, most independent economists, 3 main political parties, IFA, IBEC, SIPTU, ICTU, most major trade unions, Pfizer, Ryanair, Intel, Microsoft.
The treaty turns the EU into a STATE and forces a new citizenship on us all.. without having the decency to ask us.
EU law will then have superiority over national laws (except here in Germany). Germany's Lisbon treaty expert (Prof.Schachtschneider) says this will lead to a "burocratic dictatorship" and he should known as he's studied every line.
The Lisbon treaty is 95% the same as the constitution,REJECTED by millions of French and Dutch.

The groups you named are usually opposing each other on other issues but are united in their opposition to Lisbon. I think that says something's rotten with the treaty. It just seems to me a Yes vote is giving up your independence. I've read the points they make. They didn't scare me, they made sense. So I would vote no. If you are voting just to hurt these groups, then you're not really helping yourself, IMO.
Even though the govenment are a load of gobshites voting against the Treaty in order to hurt the government is the political equivalent of taking an overdose. Theyll all be sorry when Im dead. -No they wont.
By voting YES, I hope to hurt Youth Defence / Cóir, Sinn Féin and the United Kingdom Independence Party, all of whom are trying to frighten me into voting against it.

The EU already has its own para-military (EGF) and has granted its police (Europol) immunity from criminal prosecution.
If "populist" means following the will of THE PEOPLE rather than the will of rich "elite" burocrats like Barrosso and his un-elected commission......then GO FOR IT populist politicians,Europe needs more of you !
Reading your comment,it is clear that you belong to the new and dangerous breed of Euro-Nationalist.
Sorry, but Europe has got used to real democracy and will never accept the EU's Legoland immitation or it's Playmobil "parliament".
Did you know that the Constitutional Courts of Germany and Austria have protected their citizens from huge bits of the infamous Lisbon treaty/constitution ?
Many areas of policy that the EU will be taking over after Lisbon will not apply in these two countries.
Ireland's politicians and the EU propoganda machine (funded by us taxpayers) forgot to tell you that bit.
Check out Prof. Schachtschneider here on Youtube.
Google : No2Lisbon2 for the big changes the treaty will make in your life.
In the years ahead when the Irish people realise what has happened and ask for their country back will the EU send in EU troops, under the guise of protecting its migrant settlers (like the British did), to quell any idea of rebellion by us Irish up-starts? It looks like the EU aim to finish the job that Henry VIII started.

Vote YES! :)
The EU is NOT a threat to Ireland in ANY way. Ireland and the Irish people are MORE than a piece of paper. No law has EVER taken away our Irishness, and it never will.
The British tried to do it by killing our people. The EU is only interested in peace and prosperity. The EU donates millions of Euros to Irish Culture. It promotes the Irish language. Every single piece of paper in the EU is translated into Irish!
There is no such person as a European citizen there are two many divides of cultures, with opinions on how there country should be ruled and to them its not by other countries, and you think your polititions are corrupt nationally well these guys put them to shame as crooks , they are better prepared through legislation to rob your tax, hard earned cash right in front of your eyes and can even laugh in your face saying its ok , i`v done nothing wrong!!!!!! VOTE NO! NO! NO!
Ireland Vote NO if you want to keep your own constitution, habeaus corpus, your own parliament and own laws and your OWN police on the streets (google the EU's own para-military : European Gendarmerie Force).
Vote NO for the Dutch and French and millions of decent law-abiding Europeans like me denied a say on the out-sourcing of democracy.
Say NO to an imposed new "citizenship" no one asked you if you wanted.
Say NO to being governed by an un-elected foreign "commission".
What rubbish!.....this video and all these comments are just rubbish....Europe needs this treaty!. Ireland needs the EU!, who is going to give you people a job!...
Also accountability is improved in this treaty! Also we get to keep our commissioner in this treaty, our positions on tax and neutrality are all protected. Think of our economy, Think Jobs, Vote Yes!!!!!!

You really are clueless. Idiots like you are the reason the Govt. must hold a second referendum and spoonfeed you with information regarding Lisbon. Giving voting rights to someone of your mental capacity is dangerous.
i take it you don't read books then or actually a Fianna Fáil yes man . you must have the Education of 5 year old that consistently say yes and believes the big people . maybe you should go back to school travel a little bit of the world you narrow mined self judgmental waste of a vote ,your dangerous . you don't want freedom move back to the UK. your clueless at the highest order
If we lose this vote, then in a very few dozen years the world will laugh and sigh at the memory how Europe's people gave up their hardwon freedom through total silence.
If the people of Europa give up their rights without protests, then we will all, indeed, have shamed our ancestors and spat at all the blood and effort they spent to give us what we have today.
75% of Europeans wanted to vote on any new treaty transferring more power to the EU (Open Europe figures),...they were denied the right by an un-elected commission of millionares and a "parliament" that is un-democratic and pretends to represent an imaginary "European citizen".
Google : No2Lisbon2, European Gendarmerie Force, EU Corpus Juris, European Arrest Warrant.
Why are Europol officers immune to prosecution for everything they do AND say ?
All that 1000 years of fight in every country in europe for freedom we now will give up for corrupt eu dictators? WE dont live in the 1939-1945 SO SAY NO! think on the future!
The time for videos and talking is over. Our country is in the hands of mad men.Our future means nothing to these guys..We should block all the pooling stations when the time comes to vote.Unemployment is rampant..
This vid should be passed on to every person that is ANTI LIS/CON 2 , TO EVERY PERSON IN THEIR FRIENDS LIST, This may get lots and lots of hits on the net , there by becoming a free publicity tool, for the ANTI LISBON SIDE.
don't spit on the graves of the irish fallen comrades...
men gave their lives for 800 years against the brits to claim our feedom. now the EU want to steal our right to control our land a right that fenians fought soooo hard for.
and they have the nerve to make us RE-VOTE coz it didn't go their way!!!
After 2014 the EU-states lose their right to a permanent Commissioner. In any 5 year term only two-third of the EU-countries will be represented in the Commission, in the ultimate decision-making body, which will shape the all-time strategies and the very direction of the EU. Because smaller countries like Ireland will not have significant say via other EU-institutions either, for Ireland the loss of permanent commissioner entails the absolute lack of influence on the decisions of the EU.
One of the only countries to benefit economically from EU membership was Ireland - these days are now over and the race to the bottom in Europe is on. We are not cheap enough to win - and because we do not have our own currency wecurrently have no choice but to "adjust" our lifestyles. It's a big world folks! We really need to think about this one...
The 5,000 strong EUROPEAN GENDARMERIE FORCE (EGF) is waiting for the Lisbon treaty to be ratified.
It will be "first and foremost at the disposal of the EU" and deployed across Europe for "crisis management operations" ( i.e. demonstrations and riots ).
The officers come from 5 different countries but all wear a badge with a flaming grenade on a sword.
Coming to YOUR TOWN as soon as Lisbon is ratified.

watch "The EU Parliament and the Treaty of Lisbon." here on youtube to get the truth on the lisbon treaty and what it will actually do.The treaty mean that the EU parliment which is controlled and elected by the citizens will hve more influence in the EU the whole "itll take away our rights" is just tactics by euroskeptics and the far right to manipulate the ignorant and paranoid
The fact is that the commision(unelected) has the power, they make the laws, not the elected, they're just told to vote on whatever will push on the empires mandate. To the remark about the Irish Constution, it seems to b the only constitution strong enough in EU that cant b overwritten by a poxy name change from constitution to treaty! Habeus Corpus, just 1 of our liberties that will be overwridden! INDEPENDANCE= CHOICE= LIBERTY CENTRALISATION= CONTROL= INCREMENTAL FASCISM NO NO NO
did you not watch the video the treaty strenghthens the power of the the eu parliment and the influence that it has on the running of the eu and that is the only componant that eu citizens actually have a direct say in effecting the running of the eu the treaty will do the exact opposite that conspiracy theorists say:its taking power away from politicians and giving it to the people by cutting out or redirecting all of the unnecesary componants
Jesus christ, even by the already abysmal standards of the youtube comment pages, the cretinous, semi-literate, conspiratorial bilge being spewed over this video is something else. I mean, fuck, the amount of braindead white noise recycling the same fearful and ignorant shit that wrongly assumes that A) the lisbon treaty is part of an NWO conspiracy (which it isn't, cause that's fucking stupid) and B) that the irish constitution of 1937 is some kind of amazing piece of jeffersonian statesmanship
...(cont'd) , which it isn't. it's actually an unfit-for-purpose corporatist-statist diatribe that doesn't even properly guarantee freedom of expression.
Now stop all the hollow nationalist obscurantism, and see that Ireland has a lot more to fear from its own leaders than from europe.
We must vote NO again when the second referendum comes round. The Irish corporate controlled media is running polls saying the majority are for it.Thats absolute rubbish everyone i talked to voted NO.Our democracy is well gone.
too many died for freedom of this country, now lets keep in, vote no, dont sell us down the drain, cowen is up such a creek at the monent ,he is not thinking straight, I think he never did
the whole point of lisbon treaty is a europian army to join america, vrs russia and china when ww3 breaks out ,albert pike said they need 3 world wars to make a new world order ,how can ppl not see europe is kissing americas arse and russia and china are the other side ,it not funny anymore,i mean they need 6billion dead"
I mean far before THAT would happen all politicians & business interests advocating either overtly or covertly would be dead! Twoblindmen2009
I am English but It seems to me that the Irish people fought so hard and for so long for freedom and independance they must treasure it and safeguard it.
You voted No to the Lisbon treaty and that according to the rules should have been the end of the treaty but as you have guessed it will not be so ! The UK people were denied their right to vote and their anger will show in the next election. There is a growing feeling here against the increasing power of the EU.
European taxpayers pay the 27 un-elected EU commissioners 19,900 Euros per month EACH...to make our lives less free, less democratic and more regulated. WHY ?
When Lisbon/the Constitution has been ratified 100% of legislation will originate from un-elected officials in Brussels and we will all be forced to live under EU corpus juris law ( `a more efficient form of oppression ´ in their own words ) !
WHY ?
PLEASE vote for the restoration of democracy in June !
For what you say. well i don't pretend to know alot about this "lisbon treaty" but i believe the standing of the army and an increase of military influence will ultimately result in slavery.we just recently shed our bonds, why do we perpetuate our own demise? Our problem is public ignorance and corperate funded media. We know our enemies. we Must rise together as a world and replace our incompetant rulers and flawed systems of laws. for them to win all we must do is turn a blind eye.GOD HELP US
According to a recent statement from the EU Commission's Barroso, Turkey WILL be joining the EU.
Though polls have shown in both Europe AND Turkey ( population 72 million ) that a majority are against joining....public opinion is being ignored ( as usual ) by our un-elected masters in Brussels.
The Lisbon Treaty insists that all states should expand their "military capabilities" ( page 39 ), and Turkey's membership will make the planned EU Army larger than that of the U.S.A.
The EU must surely be the world's first "democratic" institution where the ONLY directly-elected body ( the Parliament ) has NO POWER TO LEGISLATE (with the possible exception of Zimbabwe).
The EU has all the institutions of a real state in place (Eurojust,Europol, the Euro,Eu Parliament etc.) the only thing missing are us... THE CITIZENS !
This is what the Lisbon Treaty is really about, and why it's important to stop it in the name of democracy and freedom.
Convention for Protection of Human Rights and Fundamental Freedoms ( Treaty of Rome ).
Article 15. Derogation ( i.e. EXCEPTION ) in time of emergency.
Paragraph 2. No derogation from Article 2 ( Right to life ) EXCEPT in respect of deaths resulting from lawful acts of war, or from Articles 3 ( Torture ),4 (Slavery and Forced Labour) and 7 ( No Punishment Without Law ), shall be made under this provision.

You EUrophiles never fought for what you had, so you know not what you've lost.

BritainSaysNO- you said it perfectly.
We are now at war with the EU.

LeannanStair 2 years ago
I certainly think we should leave the EU, the way it is going. If they are not going to respect our democratic voice, I want nothing more to do with it. I forgave it with Nice but not this time. My great-grandfather fought in Boland's Mill in 1916. Sometimes, I hope there isn't an afterlife or heaven, as I'm ashamed of what he must be seeing now. Well, at least I can try to make him proud. Happy belated Birthday to the Big Fella by the way.

1957Rotu 2 years ago
P.S. Would prefer European culture to the horrific "Country n' Western" influences which permeate this video. What a joke ; criticising Europe, but using an American accent to levy the criticism. I thought we were talking about Brussels (as opposed to the Grand Ol' Opry).
1957Rotu 2 years ago
I understand how you might think thusly, however I assure you that you may rest easy knowing that I refuse to commit myself to a cause before I know everything about what I am believing in- it is wrong to take sides without first thoroughly finding out about the issue. I have chosen my side.
(Comment continued below)
LeannanStair 2 years ago
I have read 'Judging Lemass'- definitely food for thought. However, what Lemass did not take into account was the fact that a unified Europe in the current situation does not involve collaboration between the countries but one government apart from the people violating the natural rights of the people (Habeas corpus, etc.), something that DOES stand opposite nationalism. The very definition of nationalism, pride in one's heritage and culture, has been violated by the EU, and that is evident.
LeannanStair 2 years ago
Perhaps you never read the European Court of Justice decision in Groener, a case involving a Dutch art teacher who was disqualified from teaching in the VEC in Dublin because of her inability to speak Irish? In its judgment the European Court of Justice specifically recognised the special place of the Irish language in our culture. So I don't know where you got hold of the somewhat wild idea that "pride in one's heritage and culture has been violated by the EU." The EU respects culture.
1957Rotu 2 years ago
Off the top of my head, one instance would be the very fact that the Treaty undermines the right of our government to make its own decisions without the EU overriding anything they say is an insult to the men and women who died to create it- our heritage. They blur the lines between cultures by creating a European state. Is it impossible for Europe to have economic relations without becoming a totalitarian superstate? I should like to think so...
LeannanStair 2 years ago

1957Rotu 2 years ago
"...barely look beyond the shores of Ireland."
And yet can you give me the number of how many Irish men and women went beyond our shores to FIGHT those wars you speak of? Even then, is it wrong of the Irish people to look out for the well being of Ireland?
As to ensuring that war remains a thing of the past, remember Tacitus-
"They created a wasteland and called it peace."
LeannanStair 2 years ago
You just don't get it, do you? There have been no wars between the EU Member States over the past fifty years. That, in itself, has to be a pointer as regards the future. You do the EU a disservice by promulgating the baseless idea that the EU will fuel future wars in Europe. The point is that tens of thousands of existing Irishmen and women have not perished in European wars precisely because of the existence of the EU.
1957Rotu 2 years ago
The EU doesn't prevent war, democracy does. You can't name 5 wars between two democratic countries. While the EU and EU members have been involved in plenty of wars since the EEC, even in Europe. You just have to look at the Balkan.

Coming to YOUR TOWN as soon as Lisbon is ratified.

watch "The EU Parliament and the Treaty of Lisbon." here on youtube to get the truth on the lisbon treaty and what it will actually do.The treaty mean that the EU parliment which is controlled and elected by the citizens will hve more influence in the EU the whole "itll take away our rights" is just tactics by euroskeptics and the far right to manipulate the ignorant and paranoid

did you not watch the video the treaty strenghthens the power of the the eu parliment and the influence that it has on the running of the eu and that is the only componant that eu citizens actually have a direct say in effecting the running of the eu the treaty will do the exact opposite that conspiracy theorists say:its taking power away from politicians and giving it to the people by cutting out or redirecting all of the unnecesary componants

The EEC/EU marriage swindle.
Imagine going out with a girl in the 1970's called EEC. A nice little relationship based on mutual " trading " of affection.
Many years later, you wake up with a huge hangover and find yourself married to her even though you never proposed or gave YOUR CONSENT !
To make matters worse, the marriage certificate states that you are not allowed to do or spend anything without consulting her first !
The certificate also reveals her real name...EU !

1.Why does the despised Lisbon Treaty/Constitution demand that all states spend more on weapons and their military ?
2.Why does EU legislation originate from an un-elected `commission´ who meet in secret ?
3.Why has the EU ignored the results of Dutch,French and Irish referendums ?
4.When will EU corruption be tackled ?
5.When were we Europeans ASKED if we WANTED an EU parliament ?
All the parliament wants is legitimacy i.e. your vote.
Don't give it to them .
Save Europe.

What for ?

The EU must surely be the world's first "democratic" institution where the ONLY directly-elected body ( the Parliament ) has NO POWER TO LEGISLATE (with the possible exception of Zimbabwe).
The EU has all the institutions of a real state in place (Eurojust,Europol, the Euro,Eu Parliament etc.) the only thing missing are us... THE CITIZENS !
This is what the Lisbon Treaty is really about, and why it's important to stop it in the name of democracy and freedom.
VOTE in the European elections !
