The XJR with only slight mods(intake, pulley, exhaust) will get to 100km in 4.6-7 seconds easily. If you want to get nuts and add a tuned ECU and crankshaft pulleys, you are talking 4.5 0-100km.
I'am not a Jag expert I only had the car for a couple of days. I looked at the papers and it said it's 4.0 V8 with 358hp. When i opened the hood up, it said SUPERCHARGHED V8. So, you tell me, if i'm wrong. It went up to 100 in 5secs..Also the gt4 celica had more than 260hp (tuned) for 1350kgs with all-wheel drive, so that wasn't a slow car either. Watch my other vid, if you don't beleive me, or tell me if i'm wrong, but i don't know any xjr with 358hp without supercharger.

Unfortunately, my transmission went out last month but I have pictures and would be more than happy to send you some. The normally aspirated X308s have a top speed of 150 or so. The XJR should be able to hit the electronically limited speed of 154. There is a you tube of the XJR vs. the M5.

all supercharged v8 jags do say "SUPERCHARGED" but there is no illumination on the lettering..the english may have thought it would be too tacky..lol And all jaguars have RPM guages . not just supercharged

Trundling down the motorway with the cruise control set to a steady 70 for hundreds of miles I average about 23 - 25ish - but only if I reset the trip counter when I get on the motorway. As soon as I get back into town it drops like a rock. Even with the cruise set to 55mph it never goes over 28ish as an average. From what I've heard from other owners this is about right.
That is a stock XJ8 not a XJR. It has 290 bhp. The XJR has 370bhp and in 2000 was the fastest sedan in the world.

this is not supercharged. Look at the RPM gage, XJR RPM gage's says supercharged under the word RPM, this one does not.

hi i have a 3.2 v8 and my next upgrade is going to be a supercharger due to the fuel economy you get from these.
not to be mistakened but these jagz are very awesome on fuel, returns over 35mpg on long run being booted about 100mph.

wrong, I own a 99 XJR and it is anything but fuel effiecient. 15 mpg mixing city and highway. I don't think I've ever gotten over 20.

Only supercharged Jags have it on the rpm gauge. Also xjr's weigh 5000 pounds, and is powered by a 4.0 V-8 with an easton SC.
