Yea I look back and laugh, I bet when you first handled guns you knew exactly what you were doing with no prior training. You probably had the perfect stance and were ready to be deployed to the sandbox after 5 mins of shooting. Also that AR was on its last legs and jammed like shit..

You need to treat it like a gun. Slam the magazine in hard, pull the charging handle and let the recoil spring push it all the way forward. "soft" handling of the rifle will lead to problems. Treat it like a weapon, not like a soft girl.

Just some advice, I hope you continue shooting and support/defend human rights and the Constitution.

oh yeah and by the way i live in the uk and i'll admit we have real shitty firearm laws but it sounds like i know your laws better than you do . i know that you are allowed full auto in the us as long as you pay the extra $200 or whatever the price is for a class 3 section 1 permit , and if you obtain one of these permits you are authorised to purchase and own automatic firearms

This AK was made in romania. The romanian ones are semi auto only. The russian ones can go semi and full auto. In the US its illigal to own full auto weapons so they can only import ones from romania or yugoslavia.

No, and the gun doesn't have a full auto option. It is illigal, unless you have a special liscence, but that is really hard to get. Also if you do have that liscence you would probably have to fork out over 15,000 for a full auto gun. And the guns have to have been made before the

1980's

I got to fire an M-16A1 on full auto with military grade ammo. And also A rare real AKM (made in the the USSR) with fold able stock. Was ridiculously fun. But funnily enough the M-16 is ALOT louder than the AK.

I would love to go to a shooting range, but I live in Wisconsin and the state law is that I can't rent/shoot handguns until I'm 21, as I will be 19 in July, so I can only shoot rifles. But the shooting range is only for handguns. I can't wait 2 years because i really would like to try the desert eagle.
