Damon Albarn has to be my favorite singer-songwriter in the world. He's one of the few artists who could do anything and I'm convinced I'd love it.
I've strived to create songs even close to the same wavelength he lives in. I just made a new music video and would love to hear what you think of it. Check it out on my channel if you have a moment. I'd love any feedback!
@clemdarlingmusic - Fucking agreed, also this is the way to sell your music, the paragraph proceeding shows both your love and influence by good music, and that your not some copy paste cat.
Sometimes a Captain needs to see if all is well in fact. He checks the log book himself as he walks onto the topside deck, but when upper administration is finding a systems glitch ~it is finally time to go below deck. It is time to check the bulkers, and in somecases the furnace! Unanounced visits and under cover visits out of the blue see better.
We have seen those in front of the curtain...let's see what actually was behind at that TIME, what was on the books, what removed.
i'm showing this in my social studies class tomarrow, we show an awesome song every thursday and discuss it. Even though i picked this album up for free at the library, it's definitely one of my favorites. thankyou blur, we love you. :D
My night today was just plain lame, I was just feeling I didn´t wanted to do anything, I felt like crap, then this song just got me on good mood again, I just love it :) .
@ZZKe7 They continued a trend of ripping off the song "Life Goes On" by The Damned. Killing Joke's "Eighties" was the first and Nirvana's "Come as you are" is the same riff.
@GelGsound don't you realize how many songs use the same chord progressions? the difference and what sets the men from the boys is in the melody. same chords used over and over, a million different ideas as far as lyrics and melody are concerned...
@TheGrungeGestapo Actually, if it sounds like D7, then it sounds like Wipers. It's their song, not Nirvana's. Just givin' the credit where it's due and all.
Anyone noticed this album sounds similiar to a certain extent to Radiohead's Kid A and Amnesiac albums? From the heavy electronic influence to the highly innovative (and cool!) experimental sound here... I'm both a big Radiohead and Blur fan. You lot might wanna give Kid A and Amnesiac a try.
It's a natrual reaction it's been about 6 years since i first heared heared this song yet it still perfectly describes the situation in my life whether in the past or present
Damon may well be a genius, but I'm not sure if he's a fucking genius. Paddy 'Pantsdown' Ashdown is probably a better fucker than Damon. In fact, he's a fucking genius!
I listened to this over and over before quitting my job and travelling the World, think this helped me to make that move. The line 'feel the sunshine on your face' did it for me. And now I have a new job I love WOOP!
this song is very brilliant. you can hear a lot of noises that goes throughout the song. but the vocalists' voice is more dominant but then you can hear all the engineered noises. for me this song is a timeless piece. nice meaning too.
yeah yeah---the album covers done by none other then BANKSY-"UK'S MOST WANTED GRAFFITI ARTIST" ,,,if you-r not 2 lazy,,check out his stuff,,,,,FUCK AWESOME!!
can you hear the Arabic instruments? this song has been recorded with a Moroccan band from Marrakech ! what a lovely song.

@TheGrungeGestapo true but if you read up on it, Blur was very opposed to the grunge scene. Very Ironic
