That could affect Your great impetus which followers like me depend on. 2012 could be a great year for catching up on great tunes that might otherwise be left unremembered. i am a 61 yo newcomer to the net.   • @reggaegaz hi, i got a cd some yrs back called 'king tubby essential dub' released by metro, via union square music, outta cowley (unionsquaremusic.co.uk).  the spine lists it as metrcd021. first track is 'silver bullet' credited to 'the observer all stars'. the release date on the disc is 2000.

  • Best version I ever heard and the musical arrangements are superb. Great music coming out of Jamaica in the late sixties.

  • With first generation Reggae, its fun to try and tease out the influences. Mainly they listened to NA soul with some NOLA stuff thrown in. Ken Boothe has a serious Otis Redding thang going on. Whether its conscious or not.

  • Classic song, too bad Boothe and Niney claimed the authorship of the song when it was really written by Sixto Rodriguez on his second album for the Sussex label, Coming From Reality.
