As to wat Archie54able he is right for that FL Studio is far more simpler to use! But Studio One is byfar the better buy for music recording! I am a DIE HARD fl studio fan! But when i started using Studio One, it completely changed my thinking!

I compose most of the time jazz, I tried all DAW's out there and I have struggled when it comes to working with odd time signatures and shifting between them. FL Studio beats them all, especially because its powerful MIDI editor. They introduced the new way of working with patterns in version 10, similar to other DAW's workflow, it's stupid, luckily you can switch to work the old way. Making really complex compositions in FL Studio is easier than in other DAW's, trust me.

...It's just that FL Studio is really overused by kids, hip hop assholes who called themselves producers by joining 3 loops. The other thing is that FL Studio creators have a really bad music taste, they force 4 chords electronic toots-toots music for every presentation of FL Studio so people get a wrong picture what can be done with it which is fucking sad.

You will try FL STUDIO and you will see how simple it is to use and the sound by far supersede this studio one crap like so they claim...lol.

FL STUDIO produces what it claims sound is fantastic and also the price is more than fantastic thank you .

I can drag it to a track but I'm a little lost. Does Presonus have a tutorial book?. I thought this program would be as easy as pro tools maybe its just me.

@benthemiester yep its you if you this DAW is super simple and intuitive. If you are a power user to any DaW then its even simpler. But if you are a novice and try S1 first then try the others you will see some dramatic shit
