If you want a really dinky..get a used one from the 90s..wit the jackson pickup and reverse headstock...much better sounding and all arund a more solid guitar.
with such a great swirl job seems that the dings should have been fixed first. the irridescent swirl is very cool...but again what is with all the dings?
they mix borax with water and enamel paint make sure theirs enough to cover the entire body in a trash can then stir with a stiring stick to make a swirl then dip the guitar in then wipe ecsese paint of the top of the water then pull your guitar out then....put it back..to.gethor
@ridzirocks You think that that's an impressive paint job? Go look at Tom Anderson Pro Am's from 1988 with the "Bowling Ball" finish, those ar hand painted and fucking insane paint jobs. That's a mysterical paint job.
@ridzirocks Sounds crazy I know, but I believe they use a technique called marble-ing, where the paint is applied (or 3 paints in this case) then cling film/PVC film/food wrap type stuff is applied over that then twisted, giving you the spectacular swirly vortex type of pattern. I'm getting one!!!!
Actually the original DK2 Eerie Dess came with either chrome harware OR black. I got chrome, but swapped out my fine tuners for black. The action is smoother. The chromes were just a tad wobbly.
hey i have that same guitar and wow... It is simply amazing. i just have one question what strings would you reccomend for it? i curently am using ernie ball regular slinky 10 gauges.
that is so killer. love the colors in it!!!

I've seen ugly things in life with no scratches. I'd choose a work of art with marks on it anyday : )

Shady32 its because all jacksons are handpainted and i beleive it would take alot longer to paint that than just having a black all over fool!

Someone please explain to me why, with a normal black or white finish, the guitar costs around €550 while, with this Eeries Dess Swirl, it costs €700
Seriously, I don't understand why the finish raises the price like €150
