What brand of Mayo' did you use? It should be Best Foods (Hellman's) or at least one that tastes similar to it. No Miracle Whip! Also big NO to the pickles and pickle juice, which probably makes it taste like tartar sauce. Ack!
Glad to see you added a 1/4 cup milk. That's the secret to a creamy mac sal' flavor. Also good to see you added grated carrots. A little salt and pepper and that's all it needs. Nothing more.
Jimbo, Lots of trial and error. I had to learn to be set up and have a plan before I started to shoot. Get everything laid out and ready. You would not belive how much time is saved by just opening the jars off camera. But to really speed things up measure everything out before you start to shoot. It also lowers your stress. Also lighting. I have two clamp on lights. Just by adding them the video quality jumped a lot.
Now I am using Adobe Premiere Elements. I was using Pinacle, which was good and worked real fast. Elements is better but I will never use most of the features.
Makes a simple side dish as well will have to try your recipe and compare it to mine .......Stteve

Let me know how it turns out. Quite often I do add some stone ground mustard.

I used Kraft real Mayo, I also like Hellman's but I don't really have a preference. But got to have some sweet pickles!

Thanks, I am realizing more prep work makes less editing time... What editing software do you use?
Have a good one!
