@DonBoby , I agree those small rocks would not have stoped KITT from going over the edge. plus Adrianne tried to turn the wheel on Goliath but he was still behind KITT it wasn't enough to avoid KITT. at least part of Goliath would have hit KITT. Causeing everyone one to go over the cliff.

@PhoenixFlare1 Becomes even more ridiculous when you add in the fact that the thing that outweighs you by 37.5 tons is also armored with something that could probably shrug off *tank shells* with not so much as a dent or a scratch-- and Goliath has been *seen* to plow straight through armored vehicles without missing a beat; repeat, *actual* tanks were not able to stop Goliath. (Oh, and just FYI, since the MBS formula also covers the tires, spike strips wouldn't have worked either.)

The same thing happened to Goliath. It appeard in two episodes and it was destroyed, so there must be replicas of that truck. Goliath belongs to Knight Rider, like KITT and KARR.

#1. No uh...Fire ball explosion? I thought that was standard for 1980's action shows when a vehicle goes over a cliff. Even into water.

#2. Why did it sound like a gorilla yelling when it was sinking into the water?

In my opinion, the gorilla sound is a reference to the film duel, which also features a large semi truck as an antagonist. Duel climaxes with the truck going over a cliff while a dinosaur roar is heard. Director spielberg used that noise to give the audience the idea that the truck is a monster that targets weak unsuspecting people. They probably went for the same effect here but it came off as rather cheesy.

Garthe Knight is a very cool villain on "Knight Rider", the son of Wilton Knight, who created the Foundation for Law and Government. Garthe really has a lot of evilness in him, he is nothing like his father. I liked this scene where he and Adrienne are in Goliath and go through the road blocks.

David Hasselhoff played the role of Garthe Knight really superbly, too bad they had to kill Garthe here. I wanted Garthe to return in another episode.
