This is one of the most patriotic pieces I've ever seen and it is beautiful. It's sad: the fact that so many who gave so much are lost in memory by the mistakes made today. Our forefathers risked everything to create a country -with principles that remain today. Whether or not these principles are remembered sometimes by the leaders of today remains unclear. People lose faith in the leaders-but that does NOT give them an excuse to lose faith in America. God Bless America.
i have nothing against america, ive been there and liked it a lot, but how dare you say "god bless america"? america is a land marked with blood of innocent native americans - indians. you grew ur new world on their remains...god would be the last person to intervene now...

As a German friend commented after a 6 week road tour here; "America seems to have the best and worst of everything". Maybe thats the most realistic analogy that can be said? No nation is a Utopia, and all nations have foundations in bloodshed, its the human flaw.Just my opinion. Thanks for the post.....

America was built on death and the mass slaughter of native americans, a crime to humanity..followed by lies and broken treaties. Empires are not made with the willingness of others. Yes, I also agree that the US will be on the downfall sooner than I would like, but before others begin making judgments on the US look at others from the G8 or any other country for that matter and think of all the crimes against humanity they have done.
