magicaldreamdesign has made a comment on NILMDTS Webinar: Part 1 - Lighting & Posing:

Fantastic video, thank you very much.

But what should I do without a light box and lighting meter, could I just work with the natural light ?

  • Natural light may work for some sessions, but certainly not for all. You can also use diffusers, smaller soft boxes, or bounce your flash. For more lighting and photography tips, you can visit our forum and chat with other photographers. A new web training video will also be released after January 1, 2011 that will give additional lighting demonstrations.

  • @nilmdtsheadquarters

I've looked for another training video but can't find it. Was it uploaded?

I'd really like to see the actual images from this session to help me visualise the end result and feel that I'm as prepared as I can be for my first session as I'll be very nervous...

  • Thank you for this great video, it helps very much.

  • I am so honor to have found these videos. What such an act of love for a family suffering. You are an inspiration. I am an aspiring photographer and never heard or thought of this before, but I would leap at the honor to be able to do the same.

  • Sandy, what a wonderful and unselfish program you provide. I am familiar with your work with children through Canon. You are a great photographer and a caring person.

  • thank you for your professionalism and information about this sensitive subject, very helpful!

  • I found the video to be very informative. Is there a way we could see how the images she took turned out. Showing the video is great, but seeing the end product (images) would be better.
