This may be a good song but it's sung in the wrong key, by a girl, and with happy little funky disco moves that kind of mess up the performance :( nicely sung though :)
the sing was ok, but it was the dance moves and acting that totally killed this performance! i mean i'm usually the last person to criticize another person's performance, but this song is a sad song. if you read and listened to the lyrics you would know that. so all the over the top dance moves killed it as well as took away from some of ur voice (like when u jumped up and down). it just seemed you were trying too hard... less would hav been more for this song.
Katie: You did an AMAZING job with this number! It is not easy to perform (you have to carry the jazz melody), and your pitch was wicked on key. Very entertaining...brilliant! You must have gotten your singing talent from your dad, as I know for a fact your mom can't sing a note (Hi Jodi! It's Greg Sherman here...). You should thank him. Right now.

@jsale37 I'm not one to criticize, and your singing is good, but first off, most of the lyrics are wrong, and the dance moves are tottaly off. Sorry. Hearing your voice, though, i think you'd be better off singing something like "On the steps of the Palace" or "I know things now" both from the play Into The Woods
