Just a comment about criticisms I see from English people (I'm English by the way) about U.S. Football/Soccer. At least the MLS is made up mostly of people who are actually American. Next time you watch an English Premier match, see how many English players you can see in each side. You won't find many, and on some occasions you won't find any. That's why England won't be winning any International competitions any time soon, probably because there's nobody to choose from. Just a thought.

Because it was made by FC Guadalajara and not only most of the people that watch soccer in the US are from Mexico and a lot of them are huge Chivas US fans because of the name. And i bet that most of the people that like the Galaxy are Mexicans who are FC America fans that hate Chivas. So it creates a huge rivalry that's good for the sport!

We still have one of our first string defenders that has yet to make an appearance this season. Also we have our striker Edson Buddle out on injury. You have to remember that Edson had the 3rd spot last year for most goals made in the MLS.

Actually I watched it a few more times and it isn't even a good save. The Keeper didn't even really save it. Donovan shot it and it went between the keepers legs. The keeper then fell back and happened to land on it with his back. It would have actually been an awesome goal through the keepers legs.

I've never seen a soccer game with so many yellow and red cards. The referee was calling the game too tight. Any little push or shove, and that player was shown a yellow.

But Chivas' Paolo Nagamura deserved a card for his challenge on Landon Donovan. He could have broken Donovan's ankle with his tackle. And LA Galaxy's Gregg Berkhalter's deliberate hold of Chivas' Alecko Eskandarian was an obvious red.

I wonder what exactly Alan Gordon did, or said, to get his first yellow card?

By the way the red that Nagamura got when he slid on Donovan was because that was his second yellow.
