I guarantee that no one would be vegetarians if the only food available was meat. that terriable if i had an donkey or horse i would not be riding it if he or she is not in good condistion only if in good like my neighbor had an couple of donkeys but then sold them but in the summers i would take care of them like by bushing them and giving them attention and i would ride around on the younger one that was about 2yrs old and mostly brush her then the father witch im sure he was about 4-5yrs old and i some times would sit on his back just for the heck of it but he wouldnt walk

Here in the US, I do sort of the same thing as what they stated to do. When we travel, we always go on a trail ride. I always make sure the horses are in good condition before I ride. If they're not, I make a comment to the owners as to why I wont be riding at their place. I hope it makes a difference....
