A very honest and accurate review. I must aggre that this is a terrible figure. The bit where you showed us the back of the figure made me wince! How this can be worth £14.99! A very good review though and nice to see a bit more of your collection.

Actually, it looks like a do-it-yourself custom. I don't see the logic of this figure, other than the fact that it appears they had an unsold surplus of Davison/Baker figures and wanted to get rid of them... or so it seems from this "creation". Also, for anyone that does figure adventures, how can this figure be used effectively in a figure series? Character Options used poor judgement with this pointless figure, in my opinion, and wasted a good opportunity to bring us something much better.

A very accurate review at that, in the sense that the information you have stated might have Character Options re think their quality control over their next figures, which is a terrific thing. Hopefully they wont make any more mistakes. I am glad I watched this. I couldn't miss it, as I have reviewed almost every single vid of yours but a fantastic review and a very 'deep' review. :D

Here's something interesting, CO and its US seller tried to introduce Doctor Who figures for sale here in the States in Toys R' Us and, at least in New York, THIS one was one of their selectons....to test the waters if you will.  Can we say EPIC FAILURE? A figure of the Doctor, no matter which one, will not sell looking like he just mud wrestled with two green Orion chicks from Star Trek or something.

It's like Homer Simpson was the one in charge of picking the figures. :P

The paint scheme on your figure seems quite extreme. My version only has a slight splodge on the jumper, nowhere near as prominent as your figure. That and the quality control issues suggest you received a somewhat abberant figure.

Its funny you should say that. I was looking online the other day and I have noticed many variations in paint job. I think its really the luck of the draw with this figure. Probably best to buy in store where you can analyse the paint job before purchase.

Ehhh, don't care for a McCoy figure...never liked his stories, they killed the classic series, if you ask me. Too much blowing stuff up and running, the Doc's not an action film star. Now Tom Baker varients, that would work. I want to find one with the smiling head without the hat and so on.

I like Colin myself. I just hate this figure, and I'll tell you why. A year or two ago, they tried to bring Doctor Who figures over here to the US in Toys R' Us stores, and guess what figure was par of that test selling.....THIS ONE! Of all the figures they could have chose, it was this one, not Daleks, not Cybermen (I bet you American kids would love the Earthshock Cybermen, even if they got no idea what they were), this one. Talked about f*cked up, eh?

I am sorry you didn't like it, I quite liked it myself. It's not perfect, but I think it's much closer than a lot of other TV shows or films get.

So not one of Character Options best work, but it may show the future. We may see some more regenerated Doctors although it's no point for Troughton because he was wearing his own clothes (Except for his frock coat) already but with Bill's cape.

That was great at the end when we got a chance to see all the figures nicly laid out....and also seeing all the Peters and Colins together....So in the original does only half of his coat get dirty....Great piece of ranting there....

Character Options seem to be milking it bringing out regenerative doctors like this. I would much prefer a box set of classic companions, Peri, Ace, both Romana's, Jo Grant and the Brig.

I think the dirt is an advantage, personally. I mean, yes, its not screen accurate unfortunately, but it looks really cool. I'll try not to display mine next to my 6th Doctor then, it'll just look stupid lol

But the main thing is, alot of kids will like it, and thats who CO are really aiming for.

i think the back looks rediculous and why bring out ANOTHER 6th doctor instead of the 8th or 7th they didnt make a 4th doctor regenerated or 5th regenerated or anythink like that so why the 6th doctor why he so special i do like the 6th doctor but its not fair on the other doctors and character options should take more time to get it right

I agree. Peter didn't get that dirty in the mine. Like you said about them sploshing paint on the costume, more like they've poured a pot of paint on him and dabbed it in areas.
