When my trombone teacher first played this recording for me, I think I cried inside for two reasons: 1. Because it was so beautiful. 2. Because I knew that I would never be as good as Christian Lindberg.
Just bought this off freehandmusic and played through it a couple times (at a MUCH slower speed, haha), and I'm gonna work it up for Solo & Ensemble in February. It should be a great and enjoyable challenge :D
@MrMertakhai just saying but thats something that you want to take a lot of time to practice, im only a freshman and im douing it my senior year, i want to get it as good as i can
Oh if we had only had you tube and the internet back in the late 1960s. What a training tool this would have been. I worked on this solo when I was a senior in high school. This would have really helped on some of the transitions. The only suggestion I would make on this video is that it would be nice to change to the next page of music when he reached the end of page one, so that if a person wanted to continue to follow the music then they could. But great posting I loved it, Thanks
beh abbiamo solo lo spartito fino ai 2:21... il meglio veniva dopo!

This is the first recording that I've heard when the player actually takes the 3rd movement this fast AND includes the octave lip slurs

According to the score, you can on a baritone BC.

Trombone?
What.
Actually, this makes more sense than a trombone trying to play Flight of the Bumblebee.
