There was one nursing home that I visited in,where there was a cna that the residents liked so much. When she went home all the residents cried.The cna had to reassure the residents that she would be back tomorrow. So yes there are some great cnas that are excellent workers. It is true that often greedy people who own the homes do not want to provide enough staff to be able to take care of the residents properly without the use of bad sedatives that can lead senior citizens to their death.
I am a CNA and I have no time to even go pee in a 6 hour shift or no lunch break either. Not all CNA's are bad people or bad workers it is the owners who are raping our elderly of their money. I do all I can and bust my ass, and you just can not help everyone and be in 3 places at once period--we are humans also not machines. We have 3 CNA's for 60 people at times and they will not call any workers to come into to help because of greedy owners who should be ashamed that they take all they can

@SergentSpain No All seniors are saints and all caregivers are evil. The owners of the facilities are in it for the good of residents and the well being of staff. Many many many care agencies are NOT on the stock market and Nurses acquire their educations through cracker jack boxes. Please get it right so we can put blame where blame is due.
