Search "Amen Break" if you don't know already, it's an interesting enough ghost of pop (or not so) culture to learn up on. Squarepusher is a big fan of it I gather, he uses it enough, brilliantly, i'll add.
PS. the powerpuff girls must have liked it too, it only plays right before they're gonna kick monster nuts. Another completely viable purpose for the thing.

I'm just saying music is mathematical which is why it is appealing to the ear. This is random noise that you would hear in a chase scene in a crappy movie..sorry its the truth

Sqarepusher, Aphex Twin, all these people do have meaning to their songs, but because the meaning isnt "please cute girl, date me, please!" people dont get it. This kind of music is abstract.
That means that you get to assign your own meaning to the song, instead of it being spelled out for you.

if there was no video and just the sound effects, how would you pull meaning out of it? How do you get meaning out of a song with no words? It just kinda sounds like chase scene music from a movie.
