Oh thank you for the video! I've been searching high and low for a video about this technique! My mother does it this way, and I just couldn't remember how she showed me, but I was tired of tying two skeins together. Just tacky! Thank you sooo much, I remember now =)
Gonna give it another go. Tried practice-learning once before; must have a mental block about it, but it seems so perfect that I really must learn this. Thank you, once again, for making this video :)
I love this idea. Like another commenter, I am doing a 2 and 2 rib right now and need to join. How do you do this technique with purl stitches, alternating 2 knit and 2 purl?
Nice. - this worked pretty well for me. Unfortunately, I started weaving in with too long of a tail and there's still some remaining to be weaved in. I guess I can't avoid having to learn that as well.
I wish I could see this done slower. I'm having problems following it. But thanks for posting it anyway, maybe I'll figure it out eventually.

@novan888
you can weave in until you are comfortable with the number of stitches you've caught the tail in and then trim the remainder.

I REALLY like this technique. I wish that I could see a closer-up version & maybe a slow-motion version. Thank you.

I love this method. There are no DOUBLE YARN stitches which I've done & think look tacky. One can't quibble with 40 yrs. of success in a technique.
