Even though some songs on this album are about Heather. This sounds like it was written bereaving Linda and how much he missed her. This one's about Linda. Also the best song on the album!

@daftpunk3494 i saw him last year too! Fed Ex field in Washington DC, then London O2, England, then 2010 at Hampden, Glasgow, Scotland. Im 16 in December. nice to see someone around my age still likes this sort of musician lol
This is such a good album that it's extraordinary to realise that it's also one of Paul's least successful in terms of sales. I love it and I think of Driving Rain and Flaming Pie as "twins" in the same way that I think of Rubber Soul and Revolver.
'Driving Rain' has an amazing assortment of songs-some really odd stuff that I like alot and 'Lonely Road' has almost a grunge influence to it-great track by the legend.
@thehorrar1994 Never even heard of it before last week and I have all but 4 macca albums including driving rain, run devil run, off the ground and press to play. I like it though, I also love spinning on an axis

I remember seeing him in concert on his tour for this. My dad and I were singing to all the songs and enjoying this together. Rip dad<3

He could take a dump and people would consider it an artistic creation

I like his Back in the U.S.A. more, probably because I saw it live, and when I was 6!

Driving Rain, hands down, is my favorite Paul Mccartney solo album. It's just plain amazing.
