ok lets see if she feels like celebrating if after those 18 months court battle she has to do the following, pay child support every month to her ex for about 21 years with the risk of going to jail and her credit getting ruined and getting the amount increased periodically, paying spousal support for a long time, giving up half her propety she bought alone before the marriage, and the worst of all losing her kids for ever meanwhile her ex fills the childs mind with negative lies about its mom.

@hrrglburf my ex husband was an ass. He beat the shit outta me and I left him...oh yeah divorce party is on!!!!! And yeah it is sad to be divorced, But sometimes it's needed. My guy beat the crap outta me AFTER we got got married, he never showed any signs of it before otherwise I wouldn't have married him. But I feel I have a right to celebrate being free from that. And tomorrow I am actually attending a divorce party, and I can't wait!
You don't think that bringing your children to a divorce party is selfish in the slightest? You're celebrating the disconnect of yourself and your former spouse (father of your children). How do you think the children would feel?
@xTheKagedBirdx I do agree with you, children should not be present. It's hard enough on kids to have their parents split up, then to have to attend the party? NOOO....kids don't need to be there for that. That's just messed up.
