  • if the eccentricity is equal to one, the orbit is parabolic which is not an infinitely straight line.

  • i was on rowing camp in new zealand quite close to the mount john observatories in tekapo, and got a great glimpse on the 23rd, and every night for the next two weeks or so it was still visible :)

  • hey:)

I realy like the way you presented that. :) and i visit those two web pages, interesting and also very nice pics form new zeland and australia (got one for desktop)

so enjoy your observing in the future and have fun.

  • To bad i didn't get a chance to see it since i don't have a clear view to the west but i did catch a glimpse of it at sunset 3 nights ago. I could have gotten a view of it with my 10 inch dobsonian i just ordered but it's gonna be coming on Friday so no real chance for me. Couldn't see it the past 2 days either because of cloudy skies!

  • Congrats on the 10 inch dob, that bad boy will get your visual observation jollies off

  • If you supported THIS video with proof of your 'daytime observation', it would have been twice as good.
