i was on rowing camp in new zealand quite close to the mount john observatories in tekapo, and got a great glimpse on the 23rd, and every night for the next two weeks or so it was still visible :)

To bad i didn't get a chance to see it since i don't have a clear view to the west but i did catch a glimpse of it at sunset 3 nights ago. I could have gotten a view of it with my 10 inch dobsonian i just ordered but it's gonna be coming on Friday so no real chance for me. Couldn't see it the past 2 days either because of cloudy skies!
