a double bass pedal that has a trigger on the back of the heel of the main pedal so when your foot tilts back, a third pedal would hit the drum so you could play 3/2's faster than on a double pedal. There's also a quaduple pedal. (kind of)

Thanks bro! Yeah... it really just takes time and practice to get better. It also helps if your not so hard on yourself. I think alot of drummers don't realize how much they are progressing from practice to practice. So don't give up, it'll come in time.

is it my classical training or is there hardly any triplet in this video? really, two16th notes plus one 8th note don't make for a triplet. a triplet is a rythmic unit where three equal notes have the value of two of the same notes, so e.g. three equal16th notes with a total duration of an 8th note.

if my ears don't fool me, the 'triplets' here are two short notes before a longer which gets the 'beat' or accent, so the emphasis is on the third note of the 'triplet' whereas a real triplet always has the accent on the first note.

if you search for 'John Bonham Triplets' here on youtube you will find a drummer who knows how triplets are played, so it isn't a drummer thing, evidently. ;)

i dunno man... i think the guy said that cause when i play blast beats, my left foot isn't moving in the video. he doesn't understand that some people can play beats with one foot that alot of other people would use a double pedal for. aka... having talent. i think 2many younger drummers get a double pedal way too early on. they never develop any skill with one foot before they start using two feet. and it seems like most of them use a double pedal as a crutch instead of a weapon.

I don't know... i've just always played that way. I feel the most comfortable with my heels down. I only play heels up if i need to be really loud... and i can't play very fast that way. So i usually play with my heels down.

I don't know why anyone would think you use a triple pedal. I didn't see any anything over 190 bpm on this video. Triplets are so easy. Try posting a video doing doubles or some fast double bass.
