  • pretty sure i know have a phobia of statues...

  • the doctor blinked at the end

  • Im only 12 and I didn't find this frightening at all....

  • Never gonna trust statues again.

  • Well...four things and a lizard... :L

  • All Moffat's characters have magical names...Sally Sparrow...Amelia Pond...

  • Sally SPARROW, Laurence NIGHTINGALE--two lovebirds. ^^

  • I love this episode, it's my absolute favorite, but this show contradicts itself SO MUCH. In the episode with the angels and Eleven, they're all looking at eachother and they're fine. Not to mention the fact that Sally had a picture of an angel at the end of this episode. You can't have a picture of a Weeping Angel. The image of an Angel becomes the Angel itself.

  • @maddyp52095 The Doctor says that the creatures in Blink were weaker than the creatures in Time of Angels

  • I seriously couldn't blink while all the pictures if the statues were in the screen.

I don't think I'll be able to look at our little statue in the garden for awhile, even though it's a little girl.

And I hope i don't have nightmares as it's almost eleven thirty.

  • I wish Sally would have traveled with them for an episode or something. I would have loved to see her and Martha conversing with each other.

  • Did I just see a copy of "Eragon" in the window?

  • as long as they don't make a chuck norris statue...

  • therese statue right in front of me, musnt blink SHIT!1!!!!!! oh its juts my wife in a statue costume

  • Oh gods.....that was just evil. Plain evil. Now I'm never going to be able to look at a statue again! Forget not being able to look at statues of angels, more like not being able to look at any statues!

  • Am I the only one who got scared too blink at the end?:)

Love the episode! Hate the ending!

    It's scary, coz he's like,

    Doctor: don't blink!

[and the pictures of statues come up]

    doctor: blink and your dead!

  • I enjoyed this episode so much, it wasn't until the end that I realized it had so little Doctor in it. Sally Sparrow carried the episode brilliantly. My favourite one ever, I think (hard to choose).

  • ah!!! david tennant!!! he was he best docter in my memorys:) i personally think david did an malvous job on the docter i wish he comes back

  • Am I the only one who got scared of blinking for the last ten seconds? x3

  • "Gotta dash. Things, happening. WELL, four things. WELL, four things, and a lizard."

That's pretty much the best line ever. :D

  • Sally Sparrow and that other guy would make great companions...

  • I LOVE this episode! Funny thing is...soon my company will be storing three statues while their new home is constructed: Bobby Clarke, Dr J and Kate Smith. I wonder.....

  • What if u close 1 eye, open it then close the other eye and open it?

  • @dreamlandpop DEAR GOD YOU HAVE JUST SAVED THE UNIVERSE

  • @Procrastina777 Have I? lol

  • "Don't blink. Blink and you're dead. Don't turn your back. Don't look away. And don't blink. Good luck."

I watched that like 4 times before I realized that the Doctor blinked at the end. OHOHOH!!!

Also I kind of hope I'm not the only one that made any statues that they may have look at each other....

  • Haham I'm scared now. I'm never going to a museum again -.-

  • i saw a weeping statue in a graveyard once i blinked nothing happened

  • "Got things happening. Well, 4 things. Well, 4 things and a lizard." ^_^

  • WELL... 4 things... WELL... 4 things and a lizard!

  • theres this weeping angeles on my computer desk so better fly

  • ...I have two gargoyles sitting on my computer desk. Must...not...look....away....or...blink....OH GOD. D:

  • so more or less this episode could kill you. after all it holds the image of an angle.... DOCTOR COME TO MY RESCUE

  • @motnafchan yes it could and so do those pictures sally had

  • God, David Tennant gives the BEST looks....

  • @gomarili I KNOW RITE?

  • If this doesn't scare you NOTHING will!

  • @LittleMissToontown I watched this with my mom and she was grabbing onto my arm for dear life! nither of us would close our eyes to sleep that nght

  • wibly-wobly-timey-whimy

  • One night a couple years ago i was having problems sleeping and this episode was on. When the episode was over i couldn't get back to sleep till i convinced myself that there was an invisible eye in my room watching out for them O.O

  • i got a statue of an angel that was crying right before i first watched this episode, i broke it's head off immediately. (who says you can't kill a stone.)

  • @Dynamicfaithfullove Thats Soo Funny.. But Hey That's a Great Idea

  • First time I saw this and it was really worth it. Thanks for uploading! :)

  • scariest thing ever. i beat up one of those living statue people in boston the other day because it moved when i blinked. afterwards i told him about the dw thing and he said he was going to be more careful about how he scaries people.

  • One of the best episodes yet, in my opinion. ;D

  • no wonder statues have always freaked me out. Their out to get us :)

  • OMG I'm gonna crap myself everytime i find myself blinking in front of a statue...OMG

  • Tennant has such great wild expression in his eyes. I would have liked to have seen his Hamlet.

  • @zisguy It's going to be on PBS this wednesday

  • @Sairin13 Thanks!

  • LOL love his bow and arrow. I bet that brought some attention to them XD

    (TacoJa)

  • So is she just distracting him, or is she really interested?

  • i wish she'd come back as a companion- she's amazing i don't know, i just think sally's great. LOVE this episode. thanks for posting.

  • I love Steven Moffat's stories! Always scary and in style :]

  • this is one of the best episodes of series 3 cos it's such an awesome storyline plus steven moffat wrote this and plus the weeping angels are coming back for series 5 yay :D

  • Sally Sparrow would have been a good companion. So would her boyfriend. Interestingly the Doctor used in essence the same trick to defeat the angels as he did the Mara in "Kinda." Evil cannot look at itself and live.

  • They also did the evil statue thing before in the episode where Nyssa comes in. Turns out it was the Master's TARDIS.

  • one of the best episodes. David Tennant's turn as The Doctor will be long remembered.

  • Yet he was hardly in this classic episode.

  • Yes it will, along with Tom Bakers turn at the Doctor.

  • I really enjoyed that. Such a well written episode

Probably one of the best of series 3. My favourite episodes in this Series are

    - Smith and Jones

    - The Lazarus Experiment

    - 42

    - Human Nature/Family of Blood

    - Blink

    - Utopia/The Sound of Drums/Last of the Time Lords

As for the rest, they were pretty meh.

  • Awesomeness, I kept yelling at the screen, "The statues are moving!!" Freaked me right out. :D

  • That was one of those creepy ones that gets under your skin... Yeah, I don't think I like statues anymore.

"Well, four things, well, four things and a lizard."

  • Dont look away.... i have a santa statue right behind my laptop ....must not BLINK

    SHIT!!!

    xX

  • @blondechick95xxx I highly dought Santa would harm you. XD

  • I was at my Uncles house for Thanksgiving, and I was on my cell outside strolling through their back courtyard....I look to my immediate left and OH SHIT!!! There was an angel statue right there between two shrubs. Headed on back to the front yard then...

  • I am alone in an empty classroom studying for finals. I look around and no statutes in sight.

    Sigh of relief...;)

  • I have my final, final tomorrow and I also *sigh* in relief. This is going to put off my love of cemetaries for a while.

  • I hope you're not studying law :)

  • @cbak12sg

LOL. I meant statues, not statutes. hahahaha

    Weeping Statutes LOL. ;)

  • Sorry. Couldn't resist!

  • I didn't blink through the whole end. *looks at random statue nervously*

  • Are we supposed to know or find out where the Doctor and Martha are headed with the arrows?

  • I don't think so.

  • Don't look away, don't turn your back and don't blink.

  • i just blinked, oh shit

  • RAWR seriously where have I seen her before???

  • she was on bleak house + the amazing mrs pritchard i think

    hope this helps XD

  • She was in Northanger Abbey and Cranford too.

  • Carey Mulligan's IMDB entry does not mention Cranford. She was Kitty in the 2005 film of Pride and Prejudice, and is superb in the film An Education, even being touted for an Oscar.

  • Her WIKI doesnt mention her spot on Who, even though she won an award for it. It lists it in the filmography but thats it.

  • So change it. :-) Just find a source for the award.

  • Oh, I see someone did.

  • AWSOME!
