I don't have exact numbers, but when I used to push for people to be prosecuted the county prosecuted many, many hookers and Johns. Actually, they all pled guilty. In recent years I have little interest in prosecution because they more often go after the hooker.

U know if all the cops, would give all the street hookers/pimps/drug dealers they saw jaywalking/loitering tickets everytime they saw them "working" ...you'd see a dramatic change in our society.
I agree it would bring relief to many of the communities. Some of our officer do write many j-walking, walking the wrong way and other various obscure tickets. The problem is that most of the hookers are basically homeless. If they can't eat, get a room, buy clothes or drugs without hooking, how are they going to pay a ticket? They won't. Then you and I have to pay to prosecute and incarcerate them.
It would be totally worth it...Like u said, most of them are homeless, drug addicted, & more or less lost. U know if all the cops, would give all the street hookers/pimps/drug dealers they saw jaywalking/loitering tickets everytime they saw them "working" ...you'd see a dramatic change in our society.

I agree it would bring relief to many of the communities. Some of our officer do write many j-walking, walking the wrong way and other various obscure tickets. The problem is that most of the hookers are basically homeless. If they can't eat, get a room, buy clothes or drugs without hooking, how are they going to pay a ticket? They won't. Then you and I have to pay to prosecute and incarcerate them.

It would be totally worth it...Like u said, most of them are homeless, drug addicted, & more or less lost. Most of them would be better off in jail, & I' like seeing my tax dollars at work cleaning up the streets. maybe they'd better better off in some kind of detox center, where they could get help, maybe even learn some real job skills, but its not like its just their problem, when they hit this point in life, its everyones, & we have to deal with it.

How are you able to put that guy on without a release? It was great you tried to talk him into rehab but it's a rather disingenuous gesture on your part, since addiction deals a lot shame. Do you think that when his employer, children and wife find out and more things won't crash around him? We don't live in Sweden, so when someone is addicted and looses everything there is no safety net to help pick up the pieces....
But hey.... anything to boost those ratings and entertain the audience!!

You're only showing your ignorance. You don't need a release when a person is in public and especially when they are very aware they are being filmed. So, you think this guy's life isn't already crashing around him? You must find it a cozy as he does living in denial. His situation is a fact. It is also eye opening to many other people. In the end it may very well take him being exposed to get the help he needs. I wish him well, but he owes his wife and children more - and even him self.

Your video should get him fired, why is the city not drug testing their employees. Also, let him lose his job, family, friends home, etc. This should be his "wake up call" crack kills, it's not some casual drug.

I'm glad to hear you're armed. That's still my favorite thing about this country, the right to bear arms to defend yourself. But not every state likes to recognize that. Barely can own a gun in California or Chicago (little more loose in other towns/cities in Illinois).
But I don't live in either of those places, so I'm happy. :D
