  • this is stupid!!! killing an nsr?!? unacceptable!

  • Is it pulsing or why is the chain slapping about on the dyno? Nice work though.

  • tres belle moto !!

  • Nice video. Can't wait til anyone can buy a EV motorcycle!!

  • Well you will have to wait as BIG FOUR are still preoccupied with gas, and will be for some time yet!

  • Not necessarily. Here in the U.S. there are a few EV motor companies:

    Brammo (too expensive)

    Electric motorsport (test road)

    Vextric (too ugly)

Mission Motors (too new, too expensive)

Yes, there's not much to choose from. But there's hope!

Also, Honda announced development of an EV motorcycle. Only one of the Big 4 to do so, as far as i know.

I wish I could build one myself. But don't got the time, space or tools right now.

  • @jpm000001 search for Brammo EV bike called EMpluse

  • Hi Guys,

The cables ties weren't an ideal solution! But they did pass my 'hang off the battery and jump up and down test' nice thick industrial ties. I have a feeling this team are going to surprise everyone.

    Cheers,

    Ian

  • Hi Andy

Cool video! that bike looks great, hope you are enjoying yourself out in OZ, I was wondering where you had got to, also looking forward to the Varadero run as well as the Mito.

Thanks for posting this up, they were risking it a bit running it on the road though? and those cable ties holding in the batteries that looked well iffy! they should have used a couple of straps at the very least!!

Cheers for posting enjoy your time out there in OZ

    Knoxie

  • yeah I was thinking those cable ties looked a bit wimpy, anyway it seems these guys know what they are doing so I can only imagine that there is some other 'force' holding the batts in place! Not recommended for a permanent battery solution I reckon though! Things are hotting up in the EVMOTORCYCLE arena right now! Varadero will be finished for sure. Sydney is cool, plenty of RS125's hanging around here to my surprise, Hmmmm I wonder where the breakers yard is! Chat soon bro.

  • hey andy, when we can see your varadero on the road ?! it s many time you have finish....but you don t have made test road?

  • Hey beppino1985. The Varadero is very close to completion however I will be away from it for a bit as I am living in Sydney for a short while. I have a feeling that there will be a lot of EVMOTORCYCLE activity in the next few months though >:)

  • Hi,

It seems as though everyone is using drive ratios of 5 to 1 through 7 to 1; have you found that to be near the correct ratio?

  • Not sure about the ratio. You would have to contact Kingston or Jozzbikes for more information on ratios. Endless Sphere also have some threads relating to this topic.
