I don't get the appeal of his grungy image, but he has a good voice and does a nice job.

It's a little derivative of the Dr. Hook arrangement but that's probably alright since he's doing it for a generation with no knowledge of the past and the arrangement works.

Yeah. Too sad he hasn't been discovered years before.  I would have loved to listen to his voice for years and years. The song is almost as old as he is. I hope he'd return to his simple look in the AI finals before. I don't like his new commercial look now. I like the simple Elliott look.
