Hate to say this but the Sonic 3 and Knuckles game was the best one of them all. 15 levels of awesomeness playing as Sonic or Knuckles, the best soundtrack around, visuals, power ups, everything and I hope they release both games as the Sonic 3 and Knuckles pack.

Don't get me wrong though, I'm excited to buy Sonic CD tomorrow on PSN... The Stardust Speedway has always been a classic boss race. It's a good think the US soundtrack is in it though or I wouldn't of bought it. Sonic Boom!

this game was the epitome of Sonic's Classic 90s adventures (in my opinion). it had everything Sonic needed, an animated opening, speed, a damsel in distress, a robotic copy of himself, a new world to explore, time travel, and a comic adaption in the amazing (Archie) Sonic Comic Series! Sega really went over the top at the time with this game.

(neither were the ones in Sonic 2 although the Sonic 2 special stages were harder and more of a challenge but that made them fun non the less.) the level design in comparison to the other classic era 2D games wasn't shit either(its not like it was impossible to complete the levels.) and there was nothing wrong with Amy being introduced. (especially since given the time a lot of other videogame icon's had a girl to save except for Sonic.)

@SexyN0Jutsu The problem that SEGA made with the opening was the removal of the vocals and some tempo from the original Japanese Opening (which was in english by the way). But to say the least, Sonic Boom represent the epicness of this game but Toot Toot Sonic Warrior (You can do Anything) represent THE personality and the attitude of Sonic the Hedgehog.

And I prefer the Japanese Sound Tracks. ^_^

@goofeewalden1 Well aware of the basic physics of flight, but it basically shows him several times in the cartoons and games outrunning fighters, like they are actually chasing him and having difficulty keeping up. Yet other times you see him racing against Formula 1 cars which touch just over 220MPH on the faster courses. A bit inconsistent maybe?
